On this tour, you will enjoy a fully narrated swamp tour by one of our local captains on the comfort of a swamp tour boat. Our tour boats feature a roof, cushioned seats, windows that can be raised or lowered for the weather, restroom, and plenty of standing and walking room. You may even experience a close encounter with some of the local swamp life. The Swamp Tour by Tour Boat with Pickup does include ground transportation.

Traveler pickup is offered
Pickup from most major downtown New Orleans hotel. For pickups, there will be a 30 minute window. Please be on the lookout for a bus that says Alert Transportation.

Folding wheelchairs are allowed, but the driver is not allowed to pick up a person to help them gain entrance. The customer must get into the minibus by themselves or with assistance from family or friends.
Please note you are not guaranteed to see a gator. They hibernate in winter months but are easily spotted in spring, summer, and fall.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

This swamp tour was very interesting and informative. We got to see a lot of fauna and also turtles, alligators and raccoons. See the alligators interact with raccoons was an amazing bit of nature.

Feeding the alligators. Our captain Jason of the boat was very entertaining. Loved watching him feed the gators marshmallows.

Costs a lot, but worth every penny. These folks really know how to do a tour. Learned so much and saw so much. It's a must-do trip.

Great time for all families. It was great to see young kids to older adults enjoying. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the alligators and the bayou. It was a great time!

This was a very enjoyable tour! The roofed swamp boat was very cool, quiet and breezy, few mosquitoes (at this time of year) we got to see a BUNCH of gators and feed them marshmallows, we also spotted a bald eagle and got to pet a baby alligator!

This was just what we hoped from the trip. The pick up from the hotel was convenient and the bayou was fascinating for us coming from all the way from Finland to see. Listening to Captain Jason was a real treat and we learned a lot. And got to see some gators! I think this tour is a must for anyone coming from further away.
