What a great hike and repels! The bottom section included an area of loose rocks so it took extra concentration and effort to get up but the views at the top were absolutely amazing! We had 3 guides in our group of 5 climbers. The guides were all friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend using Giai Xtreme!

Great trip… was everything I expected.. tips for anyone else… do a lot of stairstepper workouts.. also hydrate before and during the hike. It is brutal. And high angles. My quads and calves were constantly cramping up .. Once your at the actual climbing and repelling it’s great and the photo ops are even better

This excursion was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. The guides were attentive and helpful, making the journey a lot smoother. The breathtaking views of Monterrey from the summit made every step worth it. A truly memorable experience that I would highly recommend to any adventure seeker. Cant wait to do this again! Highly recommended. Best hiking, rock climbing, and rappelling experience.
It starts with an easy hike. Then it gets to a point where you have to rock climb/scramble with a steep incline. It can get intimidating, but for those who are fun seekers, the action is just starting.
Afterwards, you go through a series of scrambling through rock crevices, and then you get attached to steel cables for safety and support. It is safe, but not recommended for those with extreme fear of heights (or those trying to overcome the fear).
Then your first rewarding view of the majestic Huasteca Canyon (as posted in several pics).
After this, you go through 3 rappels. First one is where you descend into the window posted in the website. Then another rappel from this window, going down the opposite side of the mountain. Last one is bit rocky but still enjoyable. Rappelling is easy and you are attached to a rope.
Then comes the part where you have to descend for at least 30 minutes to the bottom.
Overall, it’s a great experience. It is very challenging and recommended for those who are physically fit, with no fear of heights, and love the adventure of a lifetime.
I’m 51 years old and I made it. It is an adventure of a lifetime that I will always cherish and be proud of.

The tour was incredible! It was physically demanding but was totally worth it! We didn’t get to enjoy the views because of how cloudy it was but still got a great experience. I would not recommend this tour for anyone with severe fear of heights. I would also recommend the individuals be ready for a very difficult and physically demanding outing. Additional items that would be helpful to bring: a headlamp and hiking poles that are collapsible. Windproof jacket for the summit
El tour fue increíble. Si requiere que uno esté en buena forma y es difícil pero vale la pena. No pudimos disfrutar de las vistas porque estaba súper nublado pero lo que sí pudimos ver estaba hermoso. Los guías nos tomaron fotos y se nota que están preparados.

All 3 aspects of the tour were incredible but the best was the rappelling, it was my first time doing it but was much easier than I expected. Would highly recommend, this is not an easy hike or climb so be prepared.
