Cannot recommend this tour enough. Not only is it delicious & fun, it’s extremely educational and we learned so much! We thought we knew a thing or two about coffee, turns out we didn’t! Jonathan did a great job keeping everyone engaged. Totally worth the time & money.

This was the highlight of our trip. It was the thing I was most excited about and still surpassed my expectations. We booked with. Group of 7 and there were another 7 people during our tour so they can accommodate large groups at once. Our guide was Alberto and he was amazing. Since most of our group spoke only English we had the tour in English but of course he also spoke Spanish if needed. The tour is walking around the plantation and stopping at different stations where Alberto would explain the different steps in producing both chocolate and coffee They offered us umbrellas so we wouldn’t have to walk under the sun. We got to try different chocolates and coffees while learning a lot. It was overall and awesome experience.

Alex did a great job at keeping our attention while providing interesting facts on coffee, chocolate, Costa Rica, and the eco practices that are important. All the samples were delicious! Highly recommended- we did the 8:00am tour which was a perfect start to our day.

Best part of our trip! My husband and I agreed this was our #1 activity during our stay in La Fortuna. Our tour guide, Stefan was very knowledgeable, engaging, funny and really made the experience amazing for us. We loved trying all the different stages of chocolate, and learning about the entire process of coffee from farm to cup. We were happy to support this small farm and would even do this every time we visit because it was so great. PS. The dogs Sophie and Bella were a great added touch to the tour.

This was an awesome tour. We sampled many different chocolates, learned the process and were well informed. The coffee portion was super informative to understand the different methods, where they originated and how the compare. Alberto was super knowledgeable and engaged with the group.

Well-paced and informative tour of the north fields coffee and chocolate plantation. The tour guide was very friendly, passionate, and delivered the information in a way that was engaging to listen to. Delicious coffee and chocolate fresh from the plants you walk among. Plenty of shade so even hot afternoons are bearable.
