This is a group tour with a maximum of 50 guests.
Our tour operates in all weather conditions. We often see the best Northern Lights displays on nights with the worst forecasted weather conditions.
This is a real chase that may include many hours of driving. The return time to Tromsø is between midnight and 04:00
There are no refunds or free trips if we do not see the Northern Lights or if you fail to meet us at the meeting point on time.
We require a minimum of 15 participants. In the rare event that a tour needs to be cancelled, a full refund will be provided.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

I booked the tour last minute, thankfully I got accepted. It was a magical night, clear skies, lights lasted throughout the night. All made possible by amazing people~ Meda, Matias and Sergej, photos taken of us was shared freely which was really nice.

Chasing Lights are not lazy to found a good spot with clear skies. We drive about 2 hours and it was amazing! Ps: Not that green on naked eyes, but, still amazing!! It Worths!!!

I only gave them 4* b/c it went on longer than we enjoyed. We stopped at a scenic area that was not that special and would have preferred to have left a bit later and just driven to see the lights. I feel they did this so people would feel they were getting their money's worth - we just wanted to see the lights. We saw nicer scenic areas in other places.
After we left that site, they communicated w/their home base and took us to a beach where they thought the lights would be - and they were! They were beautiful. Know that they do not look like the pictures to your naked eye. You mostly see the colors through your camera and sometimes you just have to point your camera to the North and look for them that way. We already knew this so we were not disappointed.
The temps were below zero, so VERY cold. We were ready to leave after a few hours and snapped some pictures of our own. The guides also took pix of people who wanted to pose in front of the lights, as well as solo pix of just the lights. Their photos of the lights were mostly awesome - much better than our own. And they emailed them to us that same night (I didn't look at them until we got home)! So that was an wonderful addition to the viewing.
About 1/3 of us were ready to leave a bit earlier, but of course they catered to the majority. You could also go back and forth to the bus from the little fire pit to get warm, or stay on the bus if you preferred. You did not get photos of you (or your group) or snacks if you were on the bus, you had to be outside around the fire. I added a few pics the guides took, including the fire area. One looks a lot like their ad-photo, just smaller b/c it is not zoomed in.
So just be prepared to be in subzero temps for several hours. But I do still highly recommend the trip! As I said, it went longer than we preferred, but I would do it again. Guides were very nice and enthusiastic. Thanks Jacob & Dani for the opportunity to see this amazing event, and your spectacular photos! :)

I’m an experienced aurora chaser, and this review is a fair one.
Chasing lights is one of the largest aurora tour companies in tromso. They have the best network, thus best weather forecast. These guys know what they are doing, so this will be one of the most efficient tours.
Managed to see 2 nights of aurora out of 2 nights, with one cloudy night.
Big bus tour is a tour with lots of people, sometimes you will be watching aurora with 200+ people at the same place (a few big bus there), as the places that allow big bus to stop are limited. You just need to expect this.
All in all, it met my expectation.

We are glad that we bought this trip from this company. Jonas and Jacob was extremly knowledgeable and experienced persons. They know the location where exactly it will happen. We were extremly lucky that we saw dancing northern light for 20 min. Highly recomended

Knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides. Stopped off to enjoy the sunset and the Northern Lights put on a show from the minute we arrived at our final destination, about 2 hours trip; we were so lucky.

The Tour was absolutely amazing! Wonderful guides, best knowledge and location. Because of the difficult conditions we drove towards Finnland, but the guide was checking the weather on the way. So we ended up near Tromsø and had the best views and here surprised with the aurora and a campfire . Compared to other similar tours which we also did, this tour was the best experience and value for our money. Jefta, Jacob, Bjørn did an awesome job. We will never forget this tour, thanks!!

If I could give Meda and Mati 10 stars I would! What a sensational trip. Everything was so thoughtfully planned. We were greeted so pleasantly and immediately felt welcome. Meda explained everything about the Chase, the lights and Tromsø so excellently. We stopped at nice places along the way also. When we set up for the night Meda very kindly helped me with my camera settings (and everyone else!) They provided us with hot drinks and cookies, and even set up a campfire. Mati took photos of us with the lights which was amazing. The trip was magical and only made so much better by Meda and Mati. What an amazing bucket list experience! We were so hesitant to book one of these bus chase tours during our trip to Norway, but we are SO happy that we did! The entire experience was so wonderful and we were able to see the northern lights (although it was a very cloudy night with a full moon). Our tour guides, Jonas and Luce, were AMAZING! Their excitement was contagious, they taught us so much, and they never gave up trying to find the lights. We even stopped a few times on the ride back to Tromso to try and find them again. Such a great experience, but be prepared to be out until late! (which was part of the experience)

Even though the weather conditions weren't the best and the sky was cloudy, our guides Jonas and Mati made the best of the situation.
We drove up north (Sergej is an excellent driver - we felt very safe) and stayed at one spot for several hours to see if the sky would clear up. Unfortunately, it didn't but we still had a good time at the fireplace with hot drinks and I learned a lot about northern lights photography and different camera settings.
We stopped again on our way back to Tromsø at around 1 am and were lucky to see some clear spots in the sky and some northern lights activity.
My photos turned out great! Thank you guys for not giving up and trying to find the best spots under difficult conditions.
