Get ready for a Northern light experience like no other. Head up the famous cable of Tromsø for an Arctic meal at dizzying heights overlooking the island and mountains of Tromsø. This is the perfect spot to enjoy views of vast Arctic landscapes while enjoying locally sourced meal in the cozy restaurant. The Fjellheisen Cable car is also perfect spot to observe the famous Northern Lights from should they graze you with their presence.
A Northern Lights watchman will alert you as soon as they appear so that you can crab your camera and head immediately outside the mountain restaurant where the light pollution is minimal, optimizing your view of the Aurora. Endless snow, mountains and the mystical Northern Lights are bound to leave you with memories for life.
From the large outdoor terrace, you can also marvel at the majestic Tromsdalstinden peak which towers 1,238 m above sea level, and in summer, the panorama deck at the upper station provides an excellent opportunity for taking in Midnight Sun. During the Arctic winter, it’s an ideal place for hunting the magical Northern Lights on our evening trips.
We pride ourselves on being the only provider who can offer guided transfers to and from the cable car, quality food and snack in the cozy cable car restaurant and a personal local guide the whole way.

What a brilliant trip we had up the mountain overlooking Tromsø. Carlo our guide was absolutely fantastic. So knowledgeable about the Northern Lights, the wildlife and great places to visit. Hot choc and cake and beautiful views. A wonderful night, would strongly recommend. Thank you for a fabulous experience!

Dinner was a small piece of semi cooked fish. That was it. We had to buy our own waters to drink. NOT worth the price. Will be complaining loudly.

We waited at the church and no one ever showed to pick us up. We sent text on what’s app and no one responded. Terrible experience. I will never recommend this

Seeing Tromsø from a different perspective was nice. I wish we had seen the northern lights, but you can’t predict nature.

Wir hatten Glück, das es eine klare Nacht war, Tromsö war gut sichtbar bei Nacht, wir hatten eine Führerin - die auch mehrere Sprachen sprach u.a. auch Deutsch konnte, bzw. dabei war es zu lernen. Als Höhepunkt machte sie uns auf die Nordlichter aufmerksam und holte uns extra nochmal aus dem Restaurant was auch nicht selbstverständlich war. Mit dem Iphone war man klar im Vorteil, konnte man die Lichter gut erkennen, die man sonst so mit dem bloßen Auge nicht 100 prozentig sehen konnte. Mein Android Handy kam da klar an seine Grenzen.

Klasse Ausblick! Es wäre schade, wenn wir das nicht gesehen hätten! Die Fahrt ansich mit der Seilbahn war zwar nicht spektakulär, aber dafür umso mehr der Blick oben auf dem Berg in den Fjord und ins Tal und auf Tromsø.
