Never received instructions on how to access so could not enjoy the class. Leaving for Northern Lights trip Tuesday so extremely disappointed.

The Wandering Owl Northern Lights Photography Workshop is essential if you want to take beautiful photos of the aurora. It was expertly led by premier guide and photographer Delphin, who explained every detail to our small group about how to capture the northern lights with our cameras and lenses. This is a must-do workshop before going out to photograph the northern lights.

We recently returned from an enjoyable trip to Norway, including Tromso, specifically to see the Northern Lights. We took one day trip (Arctic Landscapes) and one night trip (Northern Lights) with Wandering Owl and for both the guide and driver were knowledgeable, patient, and professional. Based on our excellent experience, we strongly recommend using Wandering Owl for any tours you are considering in Tromso. We also took an evening tour with a different company and they were much less organized and professional.

I signed on for a Wandering Owl Aurora Chase and, having little night photography experience, decided the WO Night Photo Workshop would help. Absolutely it did! Instructor Delphin presented the essentials along with composition and editing tips through commentary, help with our equipment, and illustrative slides. I remain surprised how much I assimilated in a one-hour session. As a result, I got some decent photos on my first night out. I also met some nice people in the workshop - always a plus. The workshop was well worth the time and price.

Our guide Mixu was knowledgeable and fun. He helped us take pictures with our cameras and he also took amazing pictures of us with his camera. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful night under the northern lights. Part of that was due to Mixu finding a great, remote spot that wasn't crowded with other tourists. Everything was well prepared. I couldn't have asked for a better night or a better tour to go with than Wandering Owl!

Nous avons passé une excellente soirée du début à la fin avec Bart le guide et photographe et Micheal le chauffeur. Certainement chanceux d'obtenir des aurores boréales tout au long de la soirée, nos hôtes étaient rapides, disponibles, réactifs pour nous faire découvrir ces lumières et supporter le froid avec des vêtements chaud et à boire et à manger. Venant nous aider à faire nos propres photos, il a offert aussi les siennes qui sont au top. Excursion excellente, qui valait le coup d'y mettre le prix.

Estuvimos con David, un guía muy atento y cercano. La excursión estuvo muy bien organizada con un pequeno grupo de turistas. Fue todo muy familiar. Nos dieron chocolate caliente, té y sopa de reno, y unas galletas caseras riquísimas. Hicimos una pequena fogata mientras contemplábamos las auroras. Estuvimos en un paraje natural con un cielo estrellado inolvidable. David nos hizo un reportaje fotográfico estupendo, con un montón de fotos, individuales y en grupo, sin coste adicional. Con gente tan dispuesta como David, este tipo de actividades se graban en la memoria para siempre. Totalmente recomendable, también por el tarto recibido en la oficina. Nos atendió una chica italiana muy agradable. 100% recomendable.

Abbiamo fatto la nostra prima esperienza di “caccia” all’aurora boreale con questa struttura. Abbiamo preso il pulmino , quindi numero ristretto di persone, e dopo circa un’oretta e mezzo da tromso ci siamo accampati. Il posto era molto bello una piccola distesa pianeggiante in mezzo al nulla con il mare a pochi passi! Purtroppo l’aurora è durata poco e non era di colori sgargianti. Abbiamo provato a ricercarla rimuovendoci con il pulmino ma purtroppo è andata male! Voglio premiare i ragazzi perché alla fine siamo arrivati a casa alle 2 di notte e mangiando in mezzo alla strada. In generale Buona escursione ma avendone fate altre, con altro operatori, forse è migliorabile o comunque altre hanno degli standard più elevati.
