Join us for a Sledge Ride in Lapland's Winter Wonderland!
Join our Northern Lights snowmobile sledge adventure from Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi for a chance to witness the magical Auroras and breathtaking Lapland landscapes. Our expert guides will take you to the best wilderness locations and with some luck and a clear sky, we might see the flaming Northern Lights dancing in the sky while we experience the tranquility of the arctic night.

Traveler pickup is offered
If you stay at the city center area, you can meet your guide at our city office. Our pickup point in city center is located in Shopping Center Rinteenkulma, address is Koskikatu 25. Exact meeting time will be informed by email the day before your activity starts.
Pickup start 45 minutes before your tour starts. The exact pickup time will be informed by email the day before. If you have not received a pickup/meeting time 20 hours prior to the activity, please contact the activity provider.
Please be ready and waiting by the entrance 5 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time if you have another pickup location selected.

Even though we were not lucky enough to see the nothern lights, the tour was awesome. It was a Great expirience. The best Part was defenitly our tour Guide Alex who was very funny, nice, caring and gave us Lots of Information on the nothern lights. We would 100% recommend this tour!

This was the worst tour I've ever been on. First of all, if it is cloudy don't go on this tour. They will take you out anyway just to make money, knowing that you won't be able to see the northern lights. They tell you of maybe we will see them. You won't. It was super cold. I couldn't even move or even get out of the sledge when we got to the tundra. Waste of money and was torturing cold.

First up - the staff were great, our kids were cold and tired and they were super kind and considerate. However the overall experience was disappointing - we weren’t expecting to be taken so close to the road and Rovaniemi town. It was a clear night and the northern lights were there but because there was so much light pollution it really didn’t feel that special… others at our accomodation went on other tours that night and had a far better experience. Finland is a beautiful wilderness, if that’s what you want then this isn’t the tour, if you prefer proximity to civilisation then this is the one.

Our tour guide Martio was exceptional!! We were lucky enough to see a great show of the northern lights and he helped with picture taking as well as providing the perfect location.
We had hot juice and cookies around a campfire on a frozen body of water in the wilderness it was just magical.

Though we didn't see the Aurora, but it was still a nice experience, snowmobile, thermal and bonfire to keep us warm, hot juice...

Amazing guide. Phenomenal experience. Kids 6 and 9. They asked the guide to "go fast" and he made the drive so fun for them. Then, the lights were spectacular.
They fitted us in clothing so we were warm the entire time

The whole trip was amazing! Our guide Sandra was so warm and kind, she made sure we were comfortable and warm throughout the whole trip. She shared stories about the northern lights and we had lots of fun! We didn’t get to see the northern lights because of the fog but she took us to some great spots where we were able to see the beautiful stars. We got to see the beautiful sceneries in the deep forest which was also really nice.

We didn’t get to see the Northern Lights but that was purely because of the weather! BUT we enjoyed the ride tremendously, and was a good experience nevertheless. I would suggest check the weather before booking though
