Stop At: Ile de la Cite, 75001 Paris France
Enjoy strolling through the streets of this charming island with your guide, hear the fascinating stories of it's long history, see one of the prettiest squares in Paris, and end your tour on the oldest bridge in the city.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Conciergerie, 2 boulevard du Palais, 75001 Paris France
Our last visit is to the Conciergerie, built as a medieval palace but most famous as the prison and last home of Queen Marie Antoinette during the French Revolution. See the cells where the prisoners were kept, including the cramped cell of Marie Antoinette, where she was imprisoned until she was taken to the guillotine in 1793.
Duration: 50 minutes
Stop At: Sainte-Chapelle, 8 Boulevard du Palais, 75001 Paris France
Then it’s a short stroll through the charming flower market to the Sainte Chapelle, home to some of best-preserved and most breathtaking stained glass in the world.
Built in the 13th century by the King Saint Louis, 80% of the walls are covered by remarkable colored glass windows. Once again you will skip the long entry lines, and your guide will teach you how to read the stories on these centuries old masterpieces, as you admire the astonishing multi-colored light flooding the chapel.
Duration: 50 minutes
Stop At: Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, 6 Parvis Notre-Dame Place Jean-Paul II, 75004 Paris France
You will then see the imposing gothic structure of Notre Dame Cathedral. Built in the 13th century, this magnificent edifice has recently survived a devastating fire, yet she is still standing proudly as the symbol of the city. Learn of her incredible construction, the mastery of her medieval architects and builders, and watch history unfold before us as she readies herself to stand tall for another eight centuries. We will see the exterior of the cathedral, you can admire the imposing sculpted facade and bell towers, the flying buttresses still holding the structure of the cathedral together today, and learn of her glorious past, including tales of the famous Hunchback.

Awesome! Tour group was very, very accommodating when we were late because of us,learning the metro. Talked with us to get us back on track using satellite view of streets and then we were able to meet up with our tour guide while giving the tour. So amazing how kind everyone one was. The rest of the tour was fantastic. We only missed Norte Dame which we could visit on our own with it being closed after fire.

We didn't enjoy this tour. To start with we walked around the Notre Dame building site. You can't see anything so it was pointless wasting our time doing that. We could have sat out the front & talked about the history of the island & then moved over to the other two sites.
We love history & architecture but found this tour quite boring.
It's not worth the price of the tour. I recommend you buy tickets & explore yourself.

Booked this through Secret Food Tours website. This tour was great – informative, educational, and fun. Our guide, Monica, was super. She was engaging, had a wealth of information, kept the tour going at a good pace. She was able to guide us on areas to explore after the tour as well. Would definitely recommend this tour.

We had not originally planned to join this walking tour on Île de la Cité, but are so glad we did. It was a breezy, informative introduction to the Île de la Cité, and we had perfect viewing of the incredible stained glass at Sainte-Chapelle. The group size is a very manageable 18 (which I believe is this tour's max). We were so thankful for the size when we saw much larger walking tours on the island. In addition, it was terrific to breeze past the long line waiting for security and entry into Sainte-Chapelle.
Our guide Umberto had the perfect temperament and relayed a lot of information in a short time. He was educational and humorous.
Our tour started on the exterior of Notre Dame (where the scaffolding had just been removed, but in May 2024 you could still not enter), then to the Conciergerie, and finally the amazing Sainte-Chappelle.

This was very disappointing. We stopped at the Paris Today office as we were told there was another tour at 4:15 which we could take leaving from the Concierge. The gentleman told us he notified the guide and we were once again on a goose chase to try to join the group. Same as the last time they were gone. We finally saw another group in front of the Chappell and were able to join that group for that part of the tour. I do think Viator should compensate us, with a refund or at least a partial refund to show good faith. I am a good customer and have used viator 11 times on this trip alone. I will not use it again as your customer service is not user friendly on considerate. I will be posting a review regarding your refusal to compensate us and the time we spent chasing down 2 tours.

After twice trying to catch up to our first 2:45 tour and then rescheduled for a 4:15 tour. Both guides were contacted and we were told no problem. I explained the situation and requested a refund, but to no avail. This is very disappointing. We stopped at the Paris Today office and we were told there was another tour at 4:15 which we could take leaving from the Concierge. The gentleman told us he notified the guide and we were once again on a goose chase to try to join the group. Same as the last time they were gone. We finally saw another group in front of the Chappell and were able to join that group for that part of the tour. I do think Viator should compensate us, if not in full a partial to show good faith. I am a good customer and have used your service 11 times on this trip alone. I will not use it again as your customer service is not user friendly.
