I arranged this tour as a part of my birthday celebration. We were taken on the tour by our guide, Ayinde Stevens. The tour was 2 hours and involved walking to see a number of the Broadway theaters. He allowed for time to stop, look and listen to the interesting stories and facts about each location we visited. So much to absorb and absolutely enjoyed every bit of it! Highly recommended, if you love theater or simply want to understand what makes Broadway, Broadway!

Mickey gave our tour and she is EXCELLENT! As a broadway actor she gave so many insider details, facts, and behind the scenes! The tour is a 2 HOUR walking tour, so be prepared, but Mickey adjusted well to the older people walking the tour. The last 20 minutes are touring Open Jar Studios in Times Square and touring that in use studio is so interesting! The studio tour gives people a small snapshot DITL of a broadway actor and other local performers. I highly recommend this tour for broadway lovers and performing artists!

I signed up for this tour by myself while my traveling companion was working and ended up at the end on a private tour with AJ after the other pair wasn’t feeling well. Despite this, I honestly felt that I received the full, enthusiastic tour experience that a full group would have received! AJ was FULL of trivia, facts, stories & neighborhood tips. I highly recommend signing up for his tour of Broadway behind the scenes. I expected an interesting tour but I was surprised at the depth of information about the characters of the theatres from the owners to the architects to the stage productions & actors.

Mickey did a wonderful job, showing our small group the wonders of Broadway. As an actor herself, she could explain the ins and outs of the Actors Guild and Equity contracts, all very interesting to those of us who know so little about what goes into making shows. She told stories about the theaters and showed us a few rehearsal studios. I visit NYC a lot, but she made me realize I know nothing. Good job, Mickey. Break a leg!

We had a fantastic time and learned so much on our Broadway Tour. AJ was a wealth of knowledge and such an amazing guide! We knew little going in and learned a tremendous amount about the breadth and depth of Broadway. My oldest hopes to work in technical theater production and this was a great foundation to learn about the greatest theaters. Thanks, AJ for making this such a wonderful tour!

The best tour we took while in NYC over spring break. Mickey was fabulous- very knowledgeable annd engaging. She knows Broadway’s history as well as the nuts and bolts of making a play or a musical. . Going into the rehearsal studio was a highlight. One can better understand how a Broadway production is made from the very beginning to actually going on stage. This tour is a must for anyone seeing a production or interested in theater.
