This was a well planned and very informative tour. Driving in Panama is not for the timid, and Enrique navigated us around with precision and in a very new and comfortable vehicle. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see a lot in a short amount of time. Favorite moments were seeing a ship go through the new locks and monkey spotting. I also learned that you definitely do not want to end up in a panamanian prison! Go ahead and book it. You won't be disappointed.

Local owner of Panama A La Carte, the best tour guide I've had the pleasure of discovering with in a long time! Enrique, thank you so very much. Our time with you is memorable. We had fun, and enjoyed the little treats along the way, the pineapple is unbelievable tasty and seeing sloths by the roadside was a bonus. We really appreciate your depth of history and passion for what you do. Can't wait to be on another excursion ith you.

Comprehensive tour with the highlights being the Panama Canal and Monkey Island where the monkeys actually came onto our boat and took fruit from our hands. Enrique is the ultimate tour guide, from both a knowledge perspective and fulfilling the needs of his clients. We were driven around in a new, comfortable van and onboard he has a cooler filled with bottles of water, multiple pairs of binoculars, and a tripod/telescope, which he pulls out at a moment's notice and sets up so that you can take close-up shots of the sloths, birds, monkeys and other wildlife that he somehow spots hidden in the trees. Besides Spanish and English, he also speaks French and a smattering of Italian, so he can cater to groups from many different countries. I can't recommend this tour highly enough.

If you only can do one thing while you are here, do this! The tour is paced well, you never feel rushed or bored. The guide is very knowledgeable and well versed in the history and lore of Panamá. The van was brand new and very comfortable. I have read all of the other reviews prior to booking and I can tell you that none of the complaints noted were even close to our experience. For example, we did not get coffee prior to leaving, so we stopped to pick some up. When we have a long stretch of driving, we stopped at a restroom prior; our guide is an excellent driver and minimized the bumps in the road. Additionally, he had a special eye for wildlife and stopped several animals in the wild and would pull over for photo ops. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Amazing day touring Panama with our two young sons and Enrique! Enrique who is fluent in English, French and Spanish is extremely friendly and accommodating, from waiting on us because our flight was delayed to changing the route to make our drop off point where our Resort transfer was picking us up. His Van is clean and has plenty of A/C which is definitely required, it's hot there. The tour delivered in every way, from seeing sloths, monkeys, crocodiles and a toucan to having a monkey join us on the boat to feed on some grapes in its natural habitat. We got to see a large container ship crossing the locks, visited the ancient Fort at Castillo de San Lorenzo, enjoyed some traditional Panamanian food for lunch and a super fresh pineapple picked and cut up by Enrique. The tour included lots of interesting history facts about Panama, Enrique is very well versed in its story which he shared with us throughout the day. Overall, we highly recommend doing this tour with Enrique to anyone looking to take in lots of what Panama has to offer. Thank you for the great day Enrique! The Brisson family.
