Stop At: Playa Olas Altas, Mazatlan Mexico
The tour begins and ends at Olas Altas. After training is competed part of the tour is on the boardwalk in our way to see the cliff divers.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Catedral Mazatlan Basilica de la Inmaculada Concepcion, Av Mexico Nte 246, Plaza Principal Plaza de la Republica, Mazatlan 82000 Mexico
One of the attractions is the Cathedral in the main square. Typically is one of the rest stops. Visiting is optional. Some guests prefer to go in and others stay in the plaza resting. Just ask Carlos "Charlie" your guide, and he will be happy to accommodate you.

Stop At: Plaza Machado, Calle Constitucion, Mazatlan Mexico
Machado square is another stopping point in the center of Old Town. One of the city's most beautiful spaces, and the epicenter of Mazatlan's cultural renaissance.

Stop At: Punta de Clavadistas, Mazatlan Mexico
The Cliff Divers perform at a location called "El Clavadista" as it is officially known. The tradition of cliff diving in Mazatlan dates from the mid 1900's when the platform that is still used today was constructed on the Malecon just north of Olas Altas Beach.

The equipment is in an excellent state of repair. The store is in a lovely part of Mazatlan, right across from the beautiful scenic ocean! I safely walked there from the cruise port. I am 67 years old and had no trouble getting on and off the Segway and keeping my balance. My tour guide, Carlos Enrique Molina Arriaga, truly loves his home city of Mazatlan! The Old Town is rich in history and culture, and Señor Arriaga showed a great story of the history of the Old Town meeting the promise of newness, while preserving, maybe not the soul, but the style and beauty of the Old Town. Señor Arriaga is a very warm and kind person. I was so emotional when I left, I forgot to give him a tip! You know that means I have to return… The final thing I can say is that the walk back to the cruise port was amazing, because I knew the story of every building and every street and every street corner! I highly suggest visiting Baikas Mazatlan. You will have a wonderful day!

I scheduled this tour for our first day in Mazatlan and I'm so glad I did! It was a wonderful way to get to know the beautiful El Centro part of town. Carlos was a fantastic guide, full of lots of fun stories, and we covered a lot of ground too. Don't fear the Segway -it was easy to learn and quickly became addicting. I'm totally sold on the method. I hope there is a Segway tour at every new city I visit! And by the way - I was super surprised at how clean and safe Mazatlan was. I fell in love with El Centro and I am already planning my next trip!

Carlos was an excellent tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable about the area and its history! And the segways are fun to ride and easy to drive! I think anyone could ride with Carlos’ help!

This is the 2nd time with Carlos and we simply enjoyed it once again. Carlos has soich knowledge of his city and truly loves his job and his city's history. This is a MUST ADD adventure if you are ever in Mazatlan. He also makes riding the segways the easiest thing to do! You must book this excursion.

A group of friends did this tour last week and we had an amazing time. Carlos was so very patient and helpful as one in our group had never been on a segway. He took extra time to help her out and make sure she was comfortable.
The tour itself was awesome, he was able to take us around old town and we were able to see some wonderful old buildings and he gave us the history of them.
The Church was beautiful, we didnt go inside but got several pictures in front.
I would highly recommend this tour. It was a great way to see the city and learn about it's history. We are ready to go back to spend more time there.

Carlos was a blast, and very knowledgeable. It's a great way to see alot in a short amount of time! Plus, they're just a blast and so easy to use. Old Town was interesting too!

This is such a great way to not only see old town but see and hear the history of the area. Carlos is such a great teacher, he was patient and made sure we were comfortable with the basics and had us practice till he was satisfied we understood how to operate the Segway.
The tour was so varied, visiting many areas, and it was safe the entire time. In addition Carlos took time to give so many examples and history of the area.

We had the most amazing Segway tour with Carlos! He knows so much about the history of this beautiful city and he is thrilled to share it with his customers! We had to bump our 12 noon tour to 5pm and I’m glad we did, because not only was the weather fantastic, we got to see the beautiful sunset on the Malacon. You can cover sooo much ground on a segway! This is our 5th segway tour around the world. Muchos gracias, Carlos!
