In summer we do evening/sunset tours. As well as tailoring a tour to your specific requirements, such as Birthday, Wedding or Anniversary treats, just contact john who is happy to make your dreams come true. If it's legal, we will try to make your dream tour become reality.

I loved it all the 360 degrees views. the history, the scenery, I learned so much in a few hours. Best day from my 5 nights mini cruise with Fred Olsen. So much better than a big organised coach trip, no comparaisons. Would recommend to any age and I am 86.

The very best decision I made for an excursion was to book this incredible experience on the Trike Tours of Orkney! John met us at the port where we geared up for our adventurous journey through one of the most interesting places I have ever visited. We were so lucky to have booked beforehand as cruise-goers were crowding around this unique transport! John made sure we were safe and comfy and we were off. He has a wealth of knowledge and we were taken to areas we never would have seen on a regular tour. The countryside was beautiful and there is nothing like the wind in your hair a picturesque scenery to wake you up in the best way possible. The history we learned combined with the exceptional locations we visited and John’s friendliness and driving skills made this a memory I will never forget! My husband and I agree that it is the best and most unique tour we have had thus far!

John showed us the back story of the islands. He went to places that buses can't go and that is what we enjoyed most. For the first 45 minutes we endured the rain with a smile on our faces. Then the sun came out and the trip turned marvelous. John is an expert in showing us the best of Orkney and knowledgeable about what he showed us. If you are reading this, please do yourself a favor and take this excursion.

We had the most amazing time with John who went out of his way to ensure we made the most of our time on Orkney. His knowledge of the island and places to visit made our wish of seeing puffins come true. Riding on his trike was magical, especially as we were blessed with a warm and sunny day. He's a genuinely nice guy and spending time in his company was an absolute pleasure. I highly recommend booking this experience.

We had a wonder time with John touring on his trike. John was very knowledgeable and fun. We learned so much and saw great sights along the way. This tour was definitely worth it and we'd definitely do it again.

It was the highlight of our cruise around the Scottish Isles. Picked up and dropped off at the ship causing a great deal of interest. A personalised itinerary for a fascinating day. The rain in the afternoon was not a problem. All safety and weather gear is supplied.
The whole day is another memory made. Thank you Trike Tours.

John’s local knowledge and adaptability to our individual interests was exemplary. This was a tailor-made tour (by car, not trike) to Neolithic sites and to ancestral places of research. We covered a lot of area and fascinating places, but at a comfortable pace. We could not have managed it on our own! We were also introduced to other knowledgeable local people. A wonderful, informative and enjoyable day in good company!

Amazing one of a kind tour . Would highly recommend for those who want a very memorable adventure. John took great care of us , warm heated seats , waterproof gear , headsets , the wind in our hair and the 360 experience was one of a kind . He has so many great stories . Was on a princess cruise , we saw more in 5 hrs than anyone on the cruise .. he picked us up right at the dock .. didnt need to take a shuttle or anything. Everyone else did . Would do this again in a heartbeat
