The local guide will meet you up at your hotel ( if located in Oslo ). Travelers can request the tour to start from any centrally located hotel. In case your hotel is outside the city we will select a convenient meeting point in the city center.Tour may end at a different location from the departure point unless requested in advance of the tour

Marta is a wonderful and friendly guide. On the day of our tour it was snowing and it seemed Marta didn't really want to be out in the elements. We walked underground through subway stations, came up saw a couple buildings, and then made our way to the Olso main library where we spent the second hour of our tour inside. It is a very impressive library, but I wasn't expecting to spend an hour walking within it. We had done tours like this one in Akureyri, Iceland and Tromsø, Norway on this trip, and each of those were better and lead by natives. Marta has been in Oslo for four years, so the tour was more of an ex-pat's view of Oslo, and not as immersed in the history and culture that comes with a native's perspective. Marta's tour wasn't bad, it was just Oslo-light. My suggestion would be to give specifics regarding what you expect from the tour. I didn't do that, and realize that's on me, and will in the future.

Operator easy to contact, responsive and picked up on time. I had specifically requested for someone that could give us an overview of local history and culture. Often times, the passion and the experience of the guide in history is what makes the difference. This tour fell very short in comparison even to many free tours we have done with companies like Sandeman in European cities. Very disappointing for the price

This tour was exceptional and individualized to our preferences. We knew nothing about the city or where to even go, yet Marta met us at our hotel near Central Station and took us on 2hr adventure that included walking past the Cathedral, Royal Palace, Nobel Peace Museum, Opera House (among many other sites) and walking through the Fortress and the Library. The library was recently awarded best library in the world. Marta knew all about what makes it so special and it was a highlight of our tour. Overall Marta was the best tour guide we have ever had. She was so knowledgeable and made us feel like VIPs. I cannot say enough good things about this tour and Marta.
