Ouzoud Falls Day Trip from Marrakech

Final destination was really nice and our guide was very friendly,helpful and funny Nice but short boat trip , lunch was average and pricey but with great views to the waterfalls . What we didn’t like in the trip was the driver We felt unsafe in both our way to waterfalls and back , a bit dangerous driving Also there was a man in the group who felt sick during the way back and actually puked in an empty bag he had and when his friends mentioned to the driver and asked him to pull over for few minutes so he could take some fresh air and rest he refused , leaving the guy holding the bag with his own puke for 1 1/2 hours Otherwise that was really nice experience

Honestly was an amazing experience. Our tour guide was really exceptional he kept checking on our group and provided information regarding the tour. The trip took us in total 3 1/2 hours I would leave the whole day free. Please be aware that walking to the top of the waterfall takes about 40 mins and would advise that if you have knee injuries you might wanna sit this one out. We did have regular breaks and there’s lots of shops etc on the way. We had lunch at a restaurant which I didn’t think was that great and quite pricey. The monkeys were amazing honestly and there is food available to purchase if you would like to feed them. We went onto the boats which allowed us to see the waterfall up close and personal. These guys work really hard as they row these boats. Overall the trip was a fantastic experience and would recommend you visiting the waterfalls if you are in Morocco.

As a lover of waterfalls, i found this to be nice but not the most spectacular The reason for the 5 stars was Hamad ( not sure of the spelling) leading the English speaking group. He shared so much about the falls, the surrounding neighborhood, and the culture of the area. He went to great lengths to make everyone’s day pleasant and answered all our questions

This was a very unpleasant travel experience for us. We had booked for a small group tour for 4 people as a family. Unfortunately a mini bus turned up with 28 other people in it and as we were the last to be picked up there were only three seats available at different spots which meant my 5 year old had to sit separately without her parents and my husband had to use a very uncomfortable make do seat in the front next to the driver. As it was Eid, the driver said he could do nothing about it but promised to put us on another mini van on our way back. However we were not allowed to board the mini van until all passengers had boarded and the situation was the same where 4 of us were left to occupy three seats! The only consolation of this whole trip was the waterfall. Therefore I would say if people can arrange their own transport to the waterfall, please do so rather than use this agency. The trek to the waterfalls can be done without a guide too.

Overall is a relatively easy walk, less than 5k round trip. Back up there are many small stairs but donkeys available if needed. We had an amazing tour guide who's kindness showed through him. Lunch was yummy, boat ride was fun, and monkeys were a treat. Only wish we could have chosen to swim instead of go to lunch and the AC broke on the bus ride back, but we survived.

Overall a great trip, but I think the advertising should provide a warning for people with walking difficulties of the very challenging descent to the base of the waterfall. My husband managed but only with assistance from our wonderful guide, Hamid. Humid gets 5 stars *****

The waterfalls were amazing - we loved the boat tour, our boat man made great shots of us. Everyone was so friendly. We loved the whole area and the monkeys too. The bus journey from Marrakech is a little long and the walk down is a little tricky at parts - but my 67 year old mother managed fine. The food is okay, we were definitely hungry by the time we had it served. It’s pricey and the starter and pudding was tasty. The main wasn’t great, I’d only suggest the skewers.

Long day but worth it. The waterfalls were lovely. Our guide Hamid was very good and knowledgeable, giving us information on the way down and back up again. Lots to see, and lots of sellers, but no pressure or hard selling. Boat trip was short (Hamid complained about it), but pleasant. The restaurant we had lunch at was very busy, but food was lovely. Barbary apes were very tame. We were the first pick up and it was over 3.5 hours from pickup to getting to the falls, but had a short break both ways. Driver seemed pleasant, but didn’t really say anything.
