Breath taking views, beautiful weather. Not for the faint hearted as physically tiring. The bus trip is long which made us debate going. Although we didn’t enjoy the travelling we do still like it was worth it to see the views. Doesn’t look like much from the top but once you get to the bottom just beautiful, Boats not very well organised and very busy. The restaurant was disappointing. Kebab and chips not worth eating. Met some lovely people and enjoyed it overall. The driver and tour guide were both great.

I don't generally like pre-booked excursions, because I like to explore at my own pace without feeling that I have to keep up with the group. But needs must, as I wasn't willing to brave driving the Moroccan roads myself. So I was quite surprised with how much I enjoyed it! It was well organised - the minibus was waiting for us at the pick-up location, and the drive went smoothly, with just one quick break in both directions. Our friendly guide, Hachimi, met us at Ouzoud and led us around the falls with cries of 'Yallah!' The falls themselves are really wonderful, and can be viewed from just about every angle. The Macaques are very used to people and are not shy at all, so there are good photo opportunities everywhere. The boat trip is short but fun: you will get wet, but that is a plus in the Moroccan heat. The negatives: Ouzoud is clearly overtouristed and is very busy. Keeping up with the group can be challenging when you are sharing a narrow path with hundreds of other people doing the same thing. Lunch was a bit average, but was reasonably priced (250 dr for two). Overall, there's not much room for improvement really. Yes, it's a long drive, but really, you should know that going in.

Our day began with an 8 a.m. hotel pickup. For the next half-hour, our van filled up to capacity, leaving no seat unclaimed. Thus began our three-hour journey—yes, a full three and a half hours each way. Upon arrival, our group merged with another, amassing about 30 tourists per guide. The site was swamped with visitors, making it a Herculean task to snap a photo without a wait of at least five minutes for the crowd ahead to clear. The tour appeared to have no age restrictions, a clear indication that the organizers were casting as wide a net as possible, prioritizing volume over the quality of experience. This strategy seems to pay off in sheer numbers of TripAdvisor reviews: ask 30 people, and maybe three will leave a review. Thus, quantity trumps quality in the review game. Our group included an elderly woman who, frankly, was ill-suited for the pace of the tour, resulting in frequent stops. Management seemed lacking across the board. Additionally, a non-English-speaking family was added to our English tour. Consequently, the guide split his time speaking 60% English and 40% French, diluting the experience for those who signed up for an English-speaking tour. If you fancy being herded like cattle with limited interaction with your guide, then this tour might just be your cup of tea.

Good experience. The tour guide Marwa, not sure I got the spelling right, was fun and very active and spoke the different languages to include everyone. I’m dropping a star cause it’s a lot of walking and so many stairs to climb, I almost passed out, lol. It’s not their fault, I’m just not fit, lol. But if I can do it, you sure can.

The trip started with a prompt pick up, and we were driven to the falls where we met our guide, Mohammed, he explained everything clearly and gave good, appropriate advice about the monkeys etc. This made the trip enjoyable and memorable as we were given time to take many photos.

A really enjoyable day out to see the Ouzoud Falls. The shuttle bus to and from the site was very comfortable, and even though the drive was 3 hours each way the journey did not feel nearly as long thanks to the scenic views. The waterfalls themselves were beautiful, and it was great to be able to view them both from the top of the cliff and from the bottom. Best of all was the boat ride that took us right up close to the falls themselves (don't worry, you only get close enough to get a light spray of water). Our tour guide was good, although the first 30-45 minutes of the trip could have been a little better handled as this was pretty much just moving around various spots at the top of the waterfall which didn't offer much variety for photos at first, but the trip got better after that. The only negative is the bathroom at the restaurant where we stopped for lunch. Whilst the food was good and satisfying, the bathroom was in a pretty horrid state and so visitors best be warned to avoid using if possible. The shuttle bus stops at a truck stop at both the beginning and the end of the trip, where a better bathroom is available.

Amazing views and Youssef was a great guide. The bus journey can be long but they tried to remedy that with a few stops, but it’s well worth it. This tour is definitely not a tour for those mobility challenged as there’s quite a few steeps climbs and hikes. Having breakfast was a lovely touch and much appreciated!
