Overlanding Senja: Guided trip around the island

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Norway. Peter and Mary were amazing guides. The tour around the island was well thought-out, as the guides knew specifically when to go to each place for the perfect lighting and views. However, apart from the tour, we also felt their passion for the island. We were provided with hot teas and a snack, and even got to try a bit of snowshoeing. It was an incredible experience overall, and we certainly recommend this tour! Thank you so much again!

One of the best unplanned ideas that we had ! Marzena and Piotr were very helpful and also very friendly, highly recommended 👍🏼 It was a real pleasure to spend this day with them and talk with them 👍🏼 They also showed us so many beautiful places and shared with us a lot of information / stories about Senja.

Our tours with Mary and Peter were an unforgettable experience. We booked the Discover Senja trip which was full of breathtaking sights thanks to their knowledge of the island and the route they created which allowed us to be in the places exactly when the sun hit. We also wanted to hike Hesten so on the 2nd day we joined them again. They made sure we had everything we needed (ice crampons, snacks, tea, etc) and managed to include as many wonderful views as possible. During the entire time they captured amazing shots of us and the landscape with their drone and camera, which we wouldn’t have obtained otherwise. Thanks Mary and Peter, your passion and knowledge of Senja helped create incredible memories for us.

We had an amazing experience exploring Senja. They have so much knowledge about the island and take you to really incredible places. They really cared about us having the best experience possible and I can truly say it was. Definitely recommend to explore Senja with them!

Es war ein wundervoller Ausflug. Ich bin von Tromsø mit dem Express Boat nach Senja gefahren. Anschließend wurde ich von meinem Guide abgeholt und wir haben Senja erkundet. Er hat viel über die Insel erzählt und wir haben tolle Plätze besucht. Wir hatten auch sehr viel Glück mit dem Wetter und die Natur war atemberaubend. Zwischendurch haben wir eine kurze Schneeschuhwanderung zu einem Aussichtspunkt gemacht (ca. 5 min) und danach gab es Tee und eine Norwegische Zimtschnecke. Am Ende der Tour wurde ich wieder zum Hafen gefahren und konnte sogar eine Fähre eher nehmen und musste somit nicht ewig am Hafen warten. Zusammenfassend war der Ausflug toll und ich bin froh ihn gemacht zu haben.

Serdecznie polecam wycieczkę na Senję z tą firmą. Przewodnicy mają dużą wiedzę i czuć, że sami są zafascynowani. Wybraliśmy wycieczkę mimo, że mogliśmy się wybrać sami samochodem i nie żałujemy - Bo zwiedziliśmy wszystkie ciekawe miejsca. Dzięki doświadczeniu przewodników mogliśmy te miejsca zobaczyć o takiej porze dnia kiedy było najlepsze światło, a dzięki ich spostrzegawczości widzieliśmy dzikie zwierzęta na żywo. Wycieczka była w bardzo komfortowym samochodzie, mimo trudnych warunków na drodze czuliśmy się bezpiecznie. Na pamiątkę mamy też piękne filmy i zdjęcia, co było miłą niespodzianką. Dodatkowo przewodnicy tak nas zachęcili do tej wyspy że chętnie odwiedzimy również w lato.
