The tour begins with a visit to the internal tourist port of the city of Brindisi. The port of Brindisi is one of the most important tourist, commercial and industrial ports in the Adriatic Sea and its history is closely linked to Rome, as we will see from the columns considered terminals of the Appian Way. During the panoramic tour of the port it will be possible to admire the beauty of the city seafront and the Monument to the Italian Sailor which emerges from the other side of the city.

We will reach the characteristic Temple of San Giovanni al Sepolcro, clear evidence of the close relationship between the city of Brindisi and the Holy Land. Inside are visible the few fragments of the mosaic floor of 1178, the wooden choir of 1594 by by local carvers, the 16th century baptismal font and many valuable paintings from various periods. A chapel is dedicated to the relics of San Teodoro, Patron Saint of the city together with San Lorenzo.
It is flanked by the cathedral, the bell tower, the bishop's palace and the seminary building.

Duration: 10 minutes

We will reach the Roman Columns of Brindisi, the historical symbol of the city, which represent the terminal part of the Via Appia Antica.
During the panoramic stop, it will be possible to admire, from the top of the Scalinata Virgiliana, the beauty of the city on the sea and the seafront of the tourist port of Brindisi.

Duration: 5 minutes

Pass By: Chiesa di Santa Teresa, Piazza Santa Teresa 4, 72100 Brindisi Italy

The panoramic itinerary includes traveling through Piazza Santa Teresa, an important testimony in Baroque style and the historical site of the Theresian convent.
It will also be possible to admire the War Memorial created during the 1930s by the Brindisi artist Edgardo Simone in memory of the approximately 500 Brindisi fallen in the First World War.

Stop At: Palazzo Granafei Nervegna, Brindisi Centro, 72100 Brindisi Italy

We will reach the sixteenth-century Palazzo Granafei Nervegna, a building characterized by a Renaissance façade with Baroque influences, in particular in the elements of the stone balconies.

Wonderful tour of Brindisi, our tour guide was friendly and really looked after us. Everything was very easy, and he made sure we saw everything we wanted to see. Felt really special having our own private tour of the area! Fully recommend, and we will do it again when we return!

Pasquale was awesome. It sounds expensive, but we saw sites that we didn’t know existed. He knows his stuff, and it was a great experience. The golf cart was a fantastic way to get around and really take in more than the obvious. This is a beautiful city, and I would definitely recommend a visit here and this tour.

We did the 2 hour tour with Pasquale as our guide. Golf cart is definitely a great way to get a good overview of the scope of Brindisi, and see some places - like the fabulous romanesque Chiesa of Santa Maria del Casale - that you might not otherwise get to. Pasquale gave us a lot of information about each place, as well as an understanding of Brindisi itself, and his English is very good. He also helpfully snaps photos of you in good viewpoints! We enjoyed the tour very much and would recommend it to any first-time visitor to Brindisi.
