Itinerary
After meeting at our landing zone and receiving an orientation from one of our certified tandem instructors, we ride in our van up to our 'Echos' launch located at 4500' elevation. Your instructor will discuss in detail the process of launching the paraglider and what they will need you to do. If you'd like to see what launching is like, please see the Pre-Flight Briefing video on our website's homepage. Basically, if you can run together with your instructor for 5-6 seconds, you can go paragliding. During the flight your instructor will take photos that will be given to you after landing. You are also welcome to bring your own phone or small camera. After flying high above the meadow below our launch with spectacular panoramic views we will land in our smooth grassy landing zone right near where we first met. Let's Go FLYING!

The entire process was smooth. From booking to getting our pics/videos at the end, it was a well oiled machine.

I took my 2 teenage sons on this excursion. This is very weather dependent. You meet them at the base and then you get in the van and they take you to the top. We chose one run and the paragliding is over pretty quickly, maybe 3 minutes total. You have to take your own pics/video of the experience. We wore long pants. The guys were friendly and we knew what we were getting, it's just the weather you have to worry about.

This is the best experience I have ever had. As soon as you're in the air you feel like you are on top of the world. I highly recommend it even if you are afraid of heights! It is not scary at all! As soon as you are up in the air it feels very serene, relaxing and scenic. This activity has the best views in the house!

Had so much fun and it was so easy. My instructor, Paul, was a true professional and I felt safe the entire time. He even took amazing photos while we were in the air! So cool! I loved being in the sky and seeing Maui from above in the open air. I went with a group of coworkers and we all had a blast! Definitely recommend flying with Paraglide Maui.

The whole experience was very easy and a wonderful experience. Both our guides were knowledgable, friendly, and made the experience fun.
They were experienced and efficient guides ad the views were spectacular. Not a scary or heart pounding experience, I definitely wished we'd done the lnger flight.
You won't be disappointed!

Our second experience with Paraglide Maui was as good as the first. I'm a visiting "dormant P-3" (intermediate rated PG pilot who hasn't flown in a while) and my wife likes to do a tandem flight once in a while. So, two totally different needs. Paul's organization is set up to handle either seamlessly. I got around five flights in with the instructor on a radio giving me tips; my wife got an unusually good tandem flight. Note that she isn't in the "roller coaster" crowd, she just wants smooth sailing, enjoy the fantastic views, and that's what she gets. Paul and Peter and Paul catered to our needs with an easy going grace.
As one recent review pointed out, paragliding is weather dependent. Sometimes we call it "parawaiting". So, yes, with any paragliding activity you should allow for some schedule shifts if the winds or clouds are not cooperating.

The guides were great and made the experience very enjoyable. The flight was very short, so we would probably upgrade for a longer one next time. All in all it was a good experience and we would do it again.

My sons and I did the 1K paraglide with Paul, Peter and Paul. They were superb! From the initial meet and greet, to the safety talk/video, we felt truly immersed in the experience. The paraglide was spectacular, with amazing views, `roller coaster experience'. Hats off to Paul/Peter, for an excellent experience. We are sure to try the 3K paraglide during our next visit to Maui -:)
