Itinerary
You will be picked at 9:00 am to get on top of a mountain at a little town called Bello, adjacent to Medellín. Upon arrival at the meeting point in San Felix, you’ll walk up a short distance to the launching pad, where your experienced pilot will provide you with the necessary equipment and tell you everything you need to know about the flight. Now you are ready to take off and a few steps later you will be already on your way up closer to the clouds!
Enjoy 20 minutes full of magnificent views while flying over the lush green mountains. Also, you’ll get the chance to take over the reins for a while before you fly back safely to the launching pad. As a memory of your flight, you will be able to purchase the photos and videos made during your flight before you head back to Medellín.

Flying next to birds. Hector, the pilot was really skilled and immediately gave me confidence. He even handed over the controls so I could feel the reaction of the parachute to my maneuvering

Wow wee oh boy wow wee!!! What a great experience. Perfect pick up from hotel in El Poblado just makes it so easy - then straight to the top of the mountain where my boy Hector looked after me soaring 3000ft in the clouds with the ealges for 20 minutes. Go Pro video costs like 10 US. Worth it!!

Initially I had a very difficult time trying to contact the paragliding companies directly until I found Viator. Once we were booked, I contacted the agency which Viator booked the trip with and they were very helpful. We were originally scheduled to go on a Saturday but since the weather was unfavorable, they changed us to Sunday. It was a gorgeous day with miles of visibility. They arranged the cabs from our apartment and then the cabs waited for us while we were paragliding as well to take us back. When we got to the launch point, we were immediately setup with a pilot and away we went. I highly recommend paragliding in Medellin and book it with Viator, they will make your life easier.

Me encantó la experiencia. La vista es única y mi piloto muy experimentado. Debe ir en ropa cómoda y flexible pero abrigado (depende la época). Si usa lentes de contacto, recomiendo llevar gafas. Y si tiene alguna dificultad con mareos por movimiento, recomiendo prepararse para esto. Que nada sea impedimento para disfrutar de una extraordinaria vista y unos tremendos anfitriones.
