Les Deux Plateaux, more commonly known as the Colonnes de Buren, a highly controversial art installation created by the French artist Daniel Buren. It turned into an iconic place for the fashionistas, where you can enjoy a photo op.
Some notable vintage boutiques are also located in the area.

The oldest Parisian fashion district. We will also stop by the Chanel original store, located at rue Cambon, where the legendary designer started her career

Walk along Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré where the most important fashion houses have their boutiques located, The tour ends at Place de la Concorde.

We travelled back in time to the origins of haute couture in the early 17th century. We learnt from Ivo's encyclopaedic memory of fashion, from the original tailors who ventured into designing for clients (Mr Worth and beyond?)

Had a wonder experience the tour guide was very passionate in his knowledge of couture, fashion and history of the area. Highly recommend this tour you will learn a lot about vintage couture and see some beautiful pieces!

It was interesting to learn about the intentionality of the fashion shows, see where some were held and see behind the current window current displays of the various fashion houses and learn about their design as it relates to the designer or makes a reference to the season’s fashion show.
A fun afternoon spent with my niece!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Ivo! He is super knowledgeable and friendly and catered to my daughter (14) who wants to enter the Fashion Industry. He gave us the history of the major fashion designers from Paris and how they were inspired and grew their collections, and how they are known today. He also gave her practical tips on getting into the Fashion industry. We had my mother along as well and he kept the pace slow to accommodate her and the content engaging for all of us. 10/10 recommend!

Ivo was incredible! We were three generations of women aged 70s to 10 attending his tour. Ivo has a clear passion for fashion and had so many interesting stories to tell us. It was very fun to walk the historical fashion area. He answered every question we threw at him. The pace was great, the information was great, and he had such a warm personality. I would probably recommend this tour for slightly older children (maybe teens?) as my daughter had a harder time being entertained with the verbal and typically needs more visual and "games" such as find the X or something along those lines. Ivo did a great job working to engage her so it is very kid-dependent.

Ivo provided a fantastic customized tour for me and my son. He took us to the fashion places I was most interested in seeing and provided us with a fascinating overview of the history of haute couture and the inner workings of the fashion world today. Ivo has insider knowledge about fashion week in Paris ask him about his experience with Anna Wintour!
I was interested in vintage fashion so he included that by stopping by some local stores who specialize in that. He took us to Hermes and gave us a tour because I like their scarves.
I also liked the history he shared about many iconic brands including Co Co Chanel and Christian Dior.
Ivo was charming, conversational and I would highly recommend him as an expert tour guide on all things fashion. He has worked in the fashion industry in many capacities and really knows the industry.
He talked about upcoming fashion trends, how the design houses get their inspiration, and the luxury brands to be on the look out for. We had tickets to the Dior Museum after our tour so he ended the tour close to that.
If you appreciate fashion in any capacity then Ivo is your guy!
