Head to your cookery school in central Paris the afternoon, then meet your macaron-making instructor over a refreshing drink before beginning your class.
During your hands-on class, listen to step-by-step guidance from your instructor and master the delicate art of macaron making. Learn how to make the meringue shells in the colors of your choosing and master the art of piping in the buttercream filling.
When your macarons are ready, sample your creations with a cup of tea of coffee and listen as your host talks of the macaron’s place in French culture and tradition. After three hours of baking and tasting, take your box of macarons and head outside to conclude your class.

Fanny was an awesome instructor!! She was fun and lighthearted!! Very thorough in her instructions and our macarons actually came out good!! Highly recommend her for an instructor!

This class is perfect for a beginner as everything is laid out in simple steps. The chef was so patient with all of us and provided tips through out the entire session. Enjoyable for all various age groups.

My daughter and I attened the macaron class, led by Stephane, in early May. It was an exceptional class from start to finish! Stephane is a world class baker and teaches with kindness, humor, and precision. My daughter and I couldn't have had more fun, and plan to make them at home for many years to come! Recipe demystified! Le Foodist is a gem and anyone visiting Paris that wants to enjoy a warm, educational experience should sign up for a class!

Our family signed up for a private 3hr macaron class so that our 10 yr old could participate and due to our other daughter’s pistachio allergy. Fred was wonderful coordinating by email to book the class and it was a wonderful family experience! Chef Stephane walked us through the entire process start to finish! He was very personable and my husband and I as well as our three daughters (15, 13 & 10 yrs old) enjoyed his teaching style and direction.
We made two batches of macarons and were able to choose 2 colors and created three fillings (chocolate, lemon & vanilla) from scratch! We all learned a lot about baking and macaroons while we worked. It was a lovely environment too! We were down in the basement and the space was perfect and neat to be in as well. Such a lovely setting to bake and cook in!
We left with four boxes of macarons and can’t wait to share them when we get home! Oh and we now have the recipe and can make them whenever we want! If you have the opportunity to take a class here go for it! You won’t be disappointed. A lovely family bonding activity as well as a fun time with friends or a date!

This was so fun and educational! Florence was very explanative and walked us through every step of the tedious process of making macarons 😁 I definitely hope to be back to take some family with me next time!
My favorite was that of course you get to eat your creations and go home with them.

My husband and I did this class and we had the best time making macarons! The class was well organized and well paced, and made a complicated process approachable. The macarons turned out delicious too, especially for our first time making them! Would sign up again in a heartbeat, highly highly recommend during your Paris vacation!

I am so very happy that I booked the macaroon baking class. I learned so much, and our instructor, Fanny, made the class incredibly fun and engaging. The space at Le Foodist is absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for an authentic baking experience in Paris!

We had a great time. Stephane our teacher was really nice and explained everything easily and helped if you wanted to but if you wanted to do it yourself you were free to do so. At the end we were served tea or coffee and we could try to macarons and we made so much we could take 2 full boxes home. At the end Stephane made a really nice dinner reservation for us, which was really kind. We highly recommend!
