Our tour begins at 1006 Bay Street, in front of the Beaufort Downtown Marina Ship's Store.

Stop At: Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29902-3947
Pat's father, the Great Santini, is buried here, as well as Pat's mother Peg. It is also the scene of the "missing man fly-over" in the movie "The Great Santini."

At the end of the tour you will have the option to be dropped off here. Open Thursday through Sunday, noon till 4pm.

Kathy was a fantastic tour guide. We were more interested in the historical and architectural aspects of Beaufort than Pat Conroy. She was entertaining, informative and a blast to spend time with. Beaufort is a beautiful city and we are happy we traveled from Hilton Head to see it. If ever in the area again we will visit again.Thank You Kathy!

Tour guide was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot more about one of my favorite authors. Enjoyed seeing the beautiful homes and Spanish moss covered trees.

Unfortunately I as the consumer did NOT realize that the Pat Conroy tour was going to exclusive about Pat Conroy& not about the history of Beaufort itself. My mistake, so it turned out it to be what we all expected.

Trip advisor mislead us and the seats we bought were the in the back and faced backward. The guide said those are the seats we bought. NOWHERE on the Trip Advisor booking sight was there an option to select our seats !!! The guide was kind enough to give us a refund. Shame on you Trip Advisor !!

Very happy we chose to do this tour! Bill, our tour guide, was so good at sharing stories and the life of Pat Conroy and how all that related to his books and movies. Such a beautiful tour of the area as well!! If you are a fan of Pat Conroy and his books and life, this is definitely a must-do! We’ll worth it!!!!

Loved hearing stories about Pat Conroy's life, his books, the movies filmed in Beaufort, and seeing the places in person. Touring the back streets to see all those beautiful homes was really enjoyable. After the tour, we visited the Pat Conroy center where they had interesting memorabilia too!
