First the island is very run down. Two...most of the chairs are broken. Three is beach area is a joke....it is just a small area of sand dumped in an area they call a beach. The snorkeling stinks...30 minutes a couple of fish as you fight a horrible current. Have had better experiences in the Bahamas. The food is just gross and did I mention the RATS running around that are not afraid of people. PLEASE choose another tour. This one stinks!!!

Buyers beware!!!! The shuttle to Pearl Island leaves at 10:30. It is extremely difficult to depart, catch a taxi and get there in time. Very disappointing when your family is left behind, We were not the only family left behind. I do not recommend this excursion.

Beautiful island with plenty to do, but it was very crowded and everything is first come, first serve, which made it more challenging to get a chair or a shaded area. The snorkeling didn’t happen for us because the seas got too rough. They took us to another section, but it wasn’t the experience we paid for.

Beautiful view and beach. The guides were friendly. Snorkeling was a lot of fun. We left in the morning which seems perfect.

The island was pretty but in comparison to another tour that we did the day after, this was merely mediocre. Food was so so and snorkeling was way too controlled. Half of the island also smelt terrible. If you make your way there, do check out the view from the lighthouse however, this is worth it.

If you’re a cruiser and wanting to cram all the experiences of the Bahamas into one day, this is the trip for you. If you’re at a resort looking for an activity to get out, maybe consider your options. The food was delicious, many complained about it being “frozen vegetables” honestly it was good fish, good chicken and good rice. If you don’t like the vegetables, trust me there was plenty of other food to fill you up. No issues getting to and from the boats. The snorkeling was cool. There were plenty of fish and spaces to explore for the snorkeling which was our main goal of this little off resort expedition. But the beaches and rest areas were certainly better on resort. Again if you’re a cruiser looking for beach, snorkeling and pigs all in one day. This is it for you.

Definitely NOT what we expected. "Guided" snorkeling was a guy yelling once you go In The water to go in a circle while he was out of the water. You only snorkel off the shore. Sunken plane and statue is so sun bleached its not very cool. "Guided snorkeling " and "access to snorkling gear" listed on the amenities are the same thing a small roped off area you use at a specified time. We unfortunately got 10 minuyes due to a mix up with staff and equipment. Very small beach access that is also shared with the paddle board a d kayak area. You can only use those items maybe 50 yards out and are roped in. Dirty island with mounds of trash bags everywhere and it was veey smelly down by lighthouse and our food area. Very disappointed not what we signed up for at all! Staff was very friendly and helpful when their was an issue so we can't thank Tanya enough for the help! However I think the tour is being over sold, over promised, and under delivering! Please change this excersion to actually include a snorkeling excursion and it would have been much better! Or change the description!

The were told to be at the dock by 10:30 to take a boat to their private island. We arrived about 4-5 minutes late, and the boat took off without us. We had to pay someone $300 to take us there. Once we got there, we were given some vague snorkeling instructions and that was it. The beach space was crowded and the beach chairs were in rough space. They only accept cash, but that is not mentioned in any communication I received from them. I felt this was a huge waste of money. My kids did snorkel and said that was a nice experience, but the mouthpieces given to them did not even appear to be sanitized.

Nice experience, the lunch lady was a bit closed mind, it was already almost the end of the lunch hours, the rice buffet container was full...and when I just asked 1 more spoon of rice the lady refused saying that the portion was one spoon only for each guest, an easy simply gesture to gain one star.

Staff were all very professional. We had a great trip to Pearl Island as there was something for everyone, lunch was delicious, and many places to lounge & wander the island. Kayak/paddle boards had to stay in a very small area, so good for kids. Some areas to improve are the snorkel equipment, some lounge chairs were well used, and the pontoon boat looked a bit dated, but we arrived safe and sound. Would recommend Pearl Island and do again.
