Our guide, Nick was an excellent raconteur and taught us in the most engaging, clear way. I was captivated by the stories he told of the history, geology and economy of the area between Hobart and Port Arthur.

This tour was booked as a "Port Arthur" excursion - but it was so much more. We replaced the Lavender Farm with the Unzoo visit to view a Tasmanian Devil - a unique experience. The deviations to Tasman Arch and The Devil's Kitchen were spectacular, and the time at Port Arthur (2 1/2 hours) was sufficient to get a good appreciation of the site facilities - although not enough to take in all the attractions. But it did include the 1/2 hour Harbour Cruise, which was an unexpected, enjoyable and informative experience. Our Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and supportive.

Enjoyed the stop at the blow hole, Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen to start. Nice lunch at the Lavender Farm. Port Arthur was an interesting visit, seeing the ruins and being in a place where so much has happened in the past. Definitely not to be missed.
Back seat of the bus is very bumpy but I understand why they take a small bus, great that the tour was only a small group.

An unforgettable trip to Port Arthur and surroundings. I was travelling solo and highly recommend you to book the trips with Tassie Tour. The guide, Nicholas, was passionate about explaining the story of Tasmania and Port Arthur in particular. We also met Neil, the seal in Dunnaley.

Great tourist guide very informative on time and very happy. Port Arthur was very beautifully maintained with lovely gardens. I however did not get the hush condition the prisoners were living under. The lavender farm was very nice but we were too early for the full bloom of the flower.
