Itinerary
A Sound Journey at the Center of Joy is about a 3 hour activity. You will arrive on a light stomach. We will orient you with the process, provide tea and a grounding activity. You will take a place on your comfortable mat in the sound journey room. You will be guided to set intentions and then your journey with your sound practitioner will begin and last for a period of 1.5 hours. After the event you will be provided with a light snack and some time to integrate the experience.

We miss Costa Rica and Center of Joy dearly. Our time there was absolutely beautiful and transformative. The staff at Center of Joy are not only amazing but also incredibly respectful. Every interaction felt genuine and uplifting. The experience was truly life-changing for us. We highly recommend trying their classes, from the Sound Healing Journey to the Ice baths; each one was like stepping into paradise. The energy at Center of Joy is palpable, and you can feel its positive impact immediately. We can't wait to return! Since our visit, we’ve noticed a significant increase in our sense of calmness and happiness.

The Centre of Joy has hosted three of our 30 person retreats so far, and each time they have blown me away with the love, care and mastery that every single member of the team pours into the whole experience. Their commitment to wellness, healing and beauty is extremely special, and never ceases to surprise and delight me, and warm my heart! They will care for all of your needs from start to finish, with class, and warmth and passion. The centre itself is such a tranquil haven, you can’t help but feel better after spending some moments there. I’d highly recommend booking in for a massage with George or Konrad, and Sandy and Gabby will go above and beyond to ensure you have a 5*, healing, wrap around experience. this was such a wholesome experience. coming from a very skeptical viewpoint I went there expecting nothing. but I was overwhelmed with a warm and friendly staff that just radiated calmness and happiness. the sound journey itself was a real ride and something that remained in me for a bit.

Sandy and the entire team at Center of Joy were amazing. We had a small women's work retreat in January 2022 - it was a wonderful experience! The Sound Therapy was like nothing we've experienced before, and would definitely recommend it. The team was attentive and always available for assistance.
