In the morning, your tour guide and private car with driver will come to meet you at your hotel lobby.
The first place you will visit the Tiananmen Square which is the biggest city center square in the world. Moreover, along famous Chang'an Street, you will see The Great Hall of People, and The National Museum (used to be named Chinese history and revolution museum). In additional, the center of the square is the Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum.

From the Tiananmen Gate you can walk towards the Forbidden City (the biggest Imperial Palace in world). There are 9999.5 rooms inside, and with over 600 years history. There were total 24 Chinese emperors who lived and ruled the country in this place from Ming dynasty to the Qing dynasty). It's worth to spend a couple of hours to visit the highlight of the Forbidden City.

During lunch time, your tour guide will take you to a local restaurant for local authentic food meal. In the afternoon, you will visit one of the seven wonders in the world - Mutianyu Great Wall. Your tour guide will take you to a less crowded section Great Wall where you can hike for around 2 hours. From the city to the Great Wall takes about 1.5 hours driving time. You will take the cable car up to the half way, and then start to enjoy your hiking journey. Then you will also take cable car on your way back. This surely save your time and energy.
After the day tour, your driver and tour guide will send you back to the hotel.

I had an amazing trip with Maggie and despite of national holiday I was able to see all the most famous places in Beijing without troubles. Definitely can recommend it!

We had a wonderful time with Maggie and cannot recommend her enough!! Her English was fantastic and she was so knowledgeable with everything related to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall of China. The authentic lunch before experiencing the Great Wall was great and it was so nice having Maggie join us! Maggie was so happy and so friendly and she went above and beyond for us!! Cannot recommend this tour enough!!

We had such a great day with Maggie. She was early and really helped us to make the most out of our day. We knew that we would be pressed for time to make it to the airport and she made sure that we got through EVERYTHING that we wanted to do and see. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Seeing all of these amazing sights in Beijing was really a bucket list item.

We had the most amazing time ! , so many bucket list items to see but what really made the difference was our outstanding tour guide Maggie ! Please ask for Maggie if you book this tour, she was highly knowledgeable, patient, took the most fantastic pictures of us and spoke perfect English. She was highly skilled with gaining access to the forbidden city and took care of all of our needs. It was a tour of a lifetime and had the best time with Maggie.

What an amazing day we had at The Forbidden City and The Great Wall. Lucy our guide has exceptional English and extensive knowledge of the history making it an informative and interesting day. Lucy even did the bartering for me when I wanted to purchase a souvenir.
Lunch was great, offering a variety of different food with something for everyone.
Our transport was extremely comfortable and spacious.
Thank you Lucy and Gary for making our day memorable.

This was a great day trip to see the highlights of Beijing. I had Jerry as our guide and he was great. He did all the handling of the tickets ahead of time so we were able to just show up and get right to it. He gave lots of history and fun facts along the way. It was a great tour to experience both the Forbidden City and the Great Wall since they are pretty far apart. The Mutianyu section was great as it wasn’t crowded, he gave us plenty of time to walk up and down and take photos. We ended up taking the chairlift up and the toboggan down was tons of fun. I would recommend this tour if you ever only have 1 day in Beijing and want to see it all!
