Your personalized Istanbul food tour experience starts with a warm welcome from your guide, who will meet you at your hotel reception, holiday rental, or Istanbul Galataport cruise port at the time of your choosing. We will begin by walking or taking a tram to Karakoy, where you'll savor a delicious Turkish breakfast. Indulge in the flavors of Turkish menemen, sucuklu omelet, kaymak, and honey - all carefully selected to give you an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine.

Stop At: Tophane Meydan Cesmesi, Kilicali Pasa, Defterdar Yks. No:2, Istanbul 34433 Turkiye
After relishing a scrumptious breakfast, we will accompany you on a leisurely walk through the vibrant neighborhoods of Tophane and Karakoy. During this walk, you will get to know the rich Turkish coffee culture and savor its unique flavor. Additionally, you will get a chance to satisfy your sweet tooth with the freshest baklava, paired with a scoop of delicious Turkish ice cream.

Stop At: Kadikoy, Istanbul Turkiye
Let's take a lovely stroll down Tophane to reach the Karakoy ferry station on the European side of Istanbul. From there, we will hop on a ferry to the Asian side and visit the charming neighborhood of Kadikoy (formerly known as Kalkedon, which means the "city of blind people"). You'll love the authentic Turkish dishes and traditional kebabs available there, or if you're feeling a bit more daring, go ahead and try a liver wrap! Afterward, let's head to the fish market, where we can indulge in some delicious stuffed or fried mussels or pickles.

Stop At: Kadikoy, Istanbul Turkiye
After tasting various delicacies, the tour will end at Kadikoy ferry station on the Asian side. From there, you can take a ferry back to the old and new city of Istanbul. Our itinerary is subject to change based on location availability and weather, and we also have some secret dishes for you to enjoy.

My 18 year old daughter and I had an amazing food tour of Istanbul with Furkan. He was an entertaining and informative guide who took us to fantastic food outlets. Even though I had been to Istanbul before, it still felt like a fresh introduction for me. We learned a lot about the significance of tea, coffee and food in Turkish culture. The kebab was not just impressive, it was a delight that we savored so much that we barely ate dinner that night. Furkan's in depth knowledge of Istanbul and its culture made it the perfect way to start our trip. I highly recommend this tour and suggest you ask for Furkan as your guide.

We absolutely loved this tour! We did the private tour .Our guide Furkan was so knowledgeable and took us to incredible venues. We tasted many things we had never had before and thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhoods he walked us through. He took us at our own pace and we enjoyed food on both continents. On the ferry ride he gave us great information about the area and history. We would definitely request him again!

Have you ever been on a food tour that left you speechless? Well, my husband and I have! Our Istanbul food tour with Furkan was nothing short of amazing. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up booking a second tour with him to explore the old city and the grand bazaar of Istanbul. Furkan was not only an excellent tour guide but also a great company. He knew exactly how to keep us engaged and entertained throughout the entire tour. If you are planing a trip to Istanbul and Turkey, you don’t need to search for a tour guide anymore. Furkan is the best family friendly tour guide we have ever had, and we are already planning our next trip with him. We will be back in Turkey next year for an extended two week holiday, and we can’t wait to explore more of this beautiful country with Furkan.

We loved our day with Derya! She introduced us to so many delightful tastes of Istanbul. Starting with a spectacular Turkish breakfast in a tiny shop full of character, then proceeding through many charming neighborhoods, where we sampled, fresh baklava, Turkish coffee, a fish wrap made with loving attention to the spice market, then a ferry to the Asian side, where the feasting continued. She has a wonderful personality, and all the places we went or her personal favorites and we felt so welcomed. Thanks to her, we fell in love with Istanbul.

Sude was an outstanding guide. She was very knowledgeable about both the food culture and history of Istanbul. She patiently answered all the myriad of questions that we asked her and took her time to explain every detail. At no time did she ever make us feel that we were wasting her time! Highly recommended!

I recently went on my first guided tour, and to be honest, I wasn’t expecting much. I’m not usually a big fan of guided activities, and I had been to Istanbul before for a business meeting, which showed me the city’s excellent food scene. However, my expectations were completely exceeded. Firstly, our guide Furkan was incredibly knowledgeable and had a fun personality. He made the tour enjoyable and engaging. Secondly, we went to a kebab shop that served the best kebab I have ever had. The chef cooked it right in front of us. Thirdly, we received a warm welcome from the waitress, staff, and even the people on the street. I had a fantastic day eating and exploring the city. I will definitely be back soon and I look forward to taking more tours with Furkan.

We spent five days in Istanbul and booked a private and guided Istanbul food tour - Taste of Istanbul, which was recommended by one of our friends who had taken the tour before. We took several tours while in Istanbul and this tour was by far the trip's highlights . Furkan was our guide; he was informative, engaging, and enjoyable to spend tie with. the spots we made and the Turkish food we learned bout and tasted were all amazing and delicious. I recommend the Taste of Istanbul tour for anyone looking for a great way to immerse yourself in an Istanbul experience.
