A great introduction of the Quito City is the Teleferico, the best viewerpoint of the capital. Our Private and personalized Quito Day Tour will start from your hotel at 09am. Our private transportation and National bilingual guide will pick you up from your location and then drive to the cable car north-west part of Quito. It will take us twenty minutes to get there. We will take the cable car and get to 4.050m. (13200ft) hiking trails, swing of the clouds, vegetation and fauna of the Andes Mountains are part of this great adventure.

This is the best representation of the new gotic architecture stile in Quito. Our guide will give you an explanation of the exterior of this building and you'll have opportinity to go up to the towers. Right there, an amazing view of Old town of Quito and other representative places of the city.

Well Conserved Historic Center in South America. The independence square, monuments, catholic buildings with different kind of art stiles, paintings, scultures, museums, colonial houses, are part of this heratige. A walking tour with our specialized guide will be the best opportunity to understand better history of the city and the country. We will suggest some great options for lunch in different restaurants with local cousine.

Stop At: Intinan Museum, Autopista Manuel Cordova Galarza, a 200 metros del redondel de la Mitad del Mundo, San Antonio de Pichincha, Quito 170180 Ecuador
The main objective of Intiñan Museum is to rescue the ancestral worldview and the ethnological habitat of Mitad del Mundo. Some great experiments will help you to understand efects in the equator line. NOTE. Please bring your passport if you want to have a nice stamp of the Equator line.

A wonderful tour led by Kathy. She was warm and friendly, very knowledgeable and told us a huge amount about Quito's history and natural environment. It was an absolute pleasure to have her guiding the two of us on this tour. She made it a memorable day. If you are looking for someone to show you around Quito, I highly recommend Kathy. Kathy was a truly terrific guide! She had a perfect mix of providing just enough information while still ticket time to explore as you were walking around. She did a great job of being flexible to spend more time where you were really interested. Plus, a great photographer to make sure you remembered the wonderful visit to Quito! I would highly recommend Kathy and this company!

We had an incredible day with our guide, who not only drove us around to see the places in the tour but also made suggestions as to extra places to visit. The tour was a little pricey, but it was still a fantastic experience.

Pato took me on a wonderful tour of the high points of Quito...and I do mean high points. Cable car to the view points, climb to the top of the cathedral. He knows and loves his city and country and happy to share. In the market, sampled many delicious and (to me) unusual fruits. From the balcony of the church looking at all the othe religious sites, the history of the colonization of the city. Excellent meal in the historic district.

We had a great time on this tour and Kathy, our guide, was amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable and had great love in what she is doing. I would highly recommend this tour and DEF Kathy!!! My husband was suffering from the altitude and she was very attentive to his condition and helped with getting him the tea to help.

I was treated to a full day in Quito. My guide, Galindo, arrived at my hotel early. Galindo is a licensed guide with a college degree in tourism. The weather was rainy and chilly so Galindo chose to start me off at Middle of the World. This is a fun stop at the equator. Galindo filled me with facts, history and other tidbits about the area. We headed to Quito where he took me to an open air market. He educated me on the various types of fruits followed by a tasting. We moved into vegetables, herbs and flowers. From there we visited churches, climbing to the very top of the basilica. The view was spectacular. After this we walked to the town square which was filled with music, vendors and entertainers. We made a brief stop for lunch at a local restaurant. The walking tour continued and we saw more churches as we walked around the old city. The final stop was a chocolate factory located off the beaten path where I was fed a brownie and hot chocolate that were delicious. Galindo then drove me back to my hotel. This was a full day of everything Quito. The trip lasted a full 9 hours. I even had time to do a little shopping.

Our experience was very enjoyable. We left in the morning with only a basic knowledge about the city and ended the day well informed. The high lights of our trip included great views, delicious local lunch and the culinary delight of a chocolate tasting. Our tour guide and driver were excellent.
