Stop At: Mermaid Private Boat Tours, Boat launch of Haapiti In front of the Haapiti Surf Lodge, Ha'apiti 98729 French Polynesia
The tour will take 3 hours in which you'll explore Mo'orea's Lagoon together with your captain and guide on a completely private tour. You'll see all the main highlights, but we also like to show you the hidden gems of our lagoon. We try our very best to spot a variety of wild life such as: rays, sharks, turtles, dolphins and a big variety of fish. We provide you with a set of snorkeling gear to see the beautiful underwater world. We will stop to enjoy some local fruits and drink some cooled juice. At the end of the tour you'll get the beautiful photos of your tour send to you, taken from above and even under the water. This is a personalised private tour, so do not hesitate to discuss what your preferences are.
The tour departs from the boat dock of Ha'apiti, but on request we can try to arrange to depart the tour from your hotel, if the place is accessible by boat. We operate the tour on our 17 feet 'Boston Whaler' boat. The tour can be operated in: English, French and Dutch.

Meet us at our departure point with your own transportaion or we can possibly organise a departure from almost all hotels* or cruise ship tender docks on Moorea.
If the place you are staying is unable to reach by the water we will find an alternative departure point most convenient for you or we can organise a taxi on your behalf to the nearest departure point. (taxi fees will be at your own cost.)
*For the ferry dock and the Sofitel Resort an additional pick-up by taxi will have to be arranged.

Whole experience was awesome . I’m not a swimmer but Luna and Clem so encouraging I was able to snorkel and enjoy the beautiful water

Fantastic Tour. We were picked up at the hotel dock early in the morning by Luna and Clem. Swam with stingrays and sharks, with nobody else around.
We visited the coral gardens, but went to an area that the tourists don't usually go, and then checked out another area that had sea turtles.
Luna had a Go Pro camera, so she tooks pictures and videos. No extra charge. They also provided us with refreshments and fresh fruit.
My wife and I spent 2 weeks traveling thru the Society islands and Tuamoto islands, and this was the best tour by far.

Pick up right at hotel on dock. On time. Super friendly. Beautiful boat ride to three locations. Each one you get to see unique species. The 1 hour long snorkel through the very healthy coral system is second to none. Haven’t seen better marine life than in Moorea. Luna takes all the pictures with her go Pro so you can relax and just take it all in. Wonderful experience.

A must do snorkel tour. Guides were punctual and friendly. Shared interesting facts about sea life and the area. Water was incredibly clear and we saw so many colorful fish, stingrays and a few harmless sharks. While on the tour, we saw other tourists on other tours and they were packed like sardines. The private tour with Luna and team was a wonderfully memorable part of our trip to the island... and Luna takes the best photos that she shared with us at the end of the trip.

We booked the trip last minute but it was one of the highlights for our family during our French Polynesia vacation. Luna & Clem were very gracious and took us to some of the best and least crowded spots for snorkeling. We saw many types of fish, corals, sting rays, eagle rays, turtles, and black tipped sharks. Luna was very good with the kids and made them feel comfortable. We had a great time and recommended Mermaid tours to anyone looking for a customized and private experience.

Absolutely fabulous snorkel trip with Luna and Clem. There were 4 of us (2 couples). Luna was the tour guide and stayed with us while snorkeling and Clem was the driver and stayed with the boat. Luna is fantastic guide. She made sure we were all comfortable in the water and was very helpful to one in our group who was having mask issues. Luna's personality made the whole experience even better. We visited 2 different sites, one a coral garden and the other a visit with stingrays and black tipped sharks. Very few others at each stop as Luna and Clem seemed to know when the other tour boats would not be around. I communicated with Luna via email and she responded very quickly. Pick up/drop off was smooth and very close to where the cruise ship tender dropped us off. We did have to pay in Polynesian Francs (XPF), but we were able to get XPF's very easily prior to the tour. I would highly recommend.

Luna and Clement were absolutely delightful hosts for a very memorable day in Mo'orea!! We did some of the best snorkeling we have ever done. Luna documented our unforgettable experience taking over 300 photos we can look back on and share with our families back home. I can't emphasize enough how lovely this pair are and they definitely made our visit to the island so special.

We were fortunate to learn about the private tour with Luna and Clem through a family we met during our stay and took the tour on our very last day. It was truly the highlight of our trip and the perfect end to our vacation. We visited last February and we still talk about it and look at the amazing photos we received at the end of the tour (such a bonus!). When we return to Moorea, we look forward to going again!
We saw sharks, rays, plenty of fish and even a sea turtle, and enjoyed seeing the beauty of Moorea from the water.
I cannot say enough good things about Luna and Clem. They were welcoming, friendly, and caring, and made our daughters (9 and 11) feel safe and comfortable in the water.
We learned so much about Moorea and the beautiful creatures in the lagoon - it was a perfect and memorable day! Do not miss the chance to see Moorea with Luna and Clement. Highly recommend!

Oh my goodness! The absolute highlight of our cruise. Worth every single penny. My husband and I took a private tour with Luna and Clem. Their attention to customer service is outstanding and Luna, especially, is a joy to be with. So friendly and filled with information. We are both snorkelers, but she made us feel special from the start. Having fish eat from your hand and "petting" the stingrays???? Fantastic, incredible, one of those once in a lifetime experiences. I just can't say enough. And they provide pictures galore to remember your experience by. Do not hesitate to book this excursion. It is a 5 star plus!!!!!!
