Departure from the port of Tropea, we will head south along Tropea and visiting its ancient beauties.
We will start by stopping under the church of the Madonna dell’Isola. Continuing we will visit the fascinating Blue Grotto, particularly for the transparent and crystalline water inside. Continuing we will arrive in Formicoli, once called "Porto Herculis", having once been a Roman port now submerged we could visit its beauties with mask and fins accompanied in the water by a snorkeling guide. Finally we arrive at the Capo Vaticano promontory, where you can admire the sheer lighthouse and the wonderful white beaches called "Praia i Focu", where you can stop and visit them only by boat. Returning to Tropea we will make a last stop at the bay of Riaci admiring this huge rock we will visit its ravines with mask and fins. After a splendid half day with us and our staff we will return to the port of Tropea.

Our captain Beppe was amazing, he sailed the boat very calmly and made our trip very pleasant. He told us lots of story’s about the area and found the best snorkelling places for us where we could swim safe, the whole process from booking to sailing went very easy.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We arrived early for our excursion and the tour company was accommodating, even allowing us to begin our trip when we arrived as opposed to waiting for the initial booking time. Our guide, Beppe, was friendly, experienced and informative. We never felt rushed and he did everything possible to ensure our comfort. As there are a lot of tour boats on the water, he tried to time our swim stops so that we were not surrounded by other tourists. I would not hesitate to book this tour.

We left the port at 9:30 in the morning. Alessandro was our skipper. He was very informative about the sights and history of this beautiful landscape. We had a wonderful time. Tropea is a beautiful place to visit in Italy and this tour is a must. Paulo was very helpful with explaining to us what we would expect to experience. 5 stars!!

Domenico was the best skipper we could ask for. His knowledge of region of Calabria was unmatched. A true gem on the waters for my girlfriend and I private cruise. We enjoyed every aspect of it from snorkeling with the fishes to walking the sandy beaches. It was a true 10/10 experience. Request domenico for your private tour it is worth it!!!

My Husband and I have traveled to Tropea multiple times and everytime we rent boats at TropeaSub for multiple days. Those days always turn out to be our favorite and most memorable of our trips. I did extensive research before selecting them initially. The boats are always kept in top notch condition and the staff is unbelievably knowledgeable of the local sea. During our first trip many years ago we were young newlyweds, this year we had our 2 year old twins with us. We knew we could trust TropeaSub to supply a safe boat and clear instructions where to travel. After a fantastic but full day of boating our twins were exhausted. Alba and her daughter played with them and gave them snacks while my Husband and I packed up our belongings. They even called us a taxi so we didnt have to walk up all the stairs to Tropea with 2 crying toddlers. That type of kindnes didnt go unnoticed for us. We already considered ourselves customers for life but this trip definitely sealed the deal. If you're looking to rent a boat in Tropea, or do anything on the sea, TropeaSub is #1.

Il tour è stato sicuramente al di là di ogni più rosea aspettativa, rivelandosi il miglior degli ultimi anni, grazie anche all'ottimo skipper Beppe che ci ha fatto apprezzare le bellezze della Costa degli Dei.

Esperienza indimenticabile che ci ha permesso di vedere e godere di un mare che non credevamo potesse esistere !
Il gommone che ci è stato assegnato era nuovo e ben tenuto , pulizia impeccabile. Lo skipper molto preparato e attento ,ci ha messo subito a nostro agio e insieme abbiamo modulato questa splendida escursione (abbiamo preferito sostare di più in un punto saltandone un altro, ma eravamo estasiati!)
Complessivamente esperienza da lode !
