This expensive experience did not meet our expectations. From the start, the owner of the company was asking us to cancel and re-book with him directly for a €50 savings, which set the tone for a company that is trying to cut corners and save a buck. The boat was not as nice as what’s shown in the photo. Our skipper didn’t speak English so we were handing a phone back and forth to translate while the boat was bobbing along the water. He did offer us a bottle of Prosecco, but it was low quality and overly sweet (to our taste). They advertise snacks and snorkeling — neither were offered. They asked in advance if we’d like them to make a lunch reservation for us in Capri, which sounded nice, but accepting their offer meant we went to a place only accessible by the restaurant’s boat. It was a fine restaurant, but the back and forth on the boat and then another boat to the main marina of Capri meant we lost about 30-40 mins of time to actually explore Capri. We only had 1h30m on the island. Not enough! The skipper said the seas were too rough to visit the famous blue grotto, but when we got to Capri, they were selling boat tours to the blue grotto from the marina. Of course, when I asked, they said it was open. I’m giving it 3 stars instead of 1 because we still enjoyed being on the sea and seeing some of the beautiful sites. We had the boat to ourselves. There was at least a cold Peroni beer in the cooler. The skipper was a friendly enough guy, doing his best, but this organization was schlocky and made us feel kinda ripped off. Viator should remove this guy from their site. He’s ripping you off, too.

Amazing day trip!! Gianluigi is the perfect host. A must do if you come to the Amalfi Coast. From the moment he met us at the port in Positano he made us feel at home. His boat is immaculate. We had lovely limoncello drinks as we sailed through the different caves. The trip to Capri was lovely and he really was with us helping us at every step of the journey. I would recommend it to anyone who comes to the Coast.

Unfortunately, the weather was not desirable for the day of our trip. The clouds and light rain created heavy waves on the water. The blue grotto was not available due to the weather. Our boat captain did a wonderful job of making us comfortable and ensuring we were able to see everything we wanted to see. he managed the water with expertise, and we felt very safe during the trip.

Gianluigi was the best skipper in all of Positano! Everything was wonderful. He took us to all the caves in Capri and took us to places to swim. He also recommended a lunch spot which was amazing! He also shared with us some of his homemade limoncello which we loved. Thank you for everything!

Giuseppe is the sweetest and friendliest tour guide / skipper we’ve been with . He sent a text reminder the day before and morning of the tour . He was flexible with what we wanted to do and was great with our young kids . His nice mannerisms was what made the big difference. He didn’t make us feel rushed , or forced to do anything. He was easygoing and genuinely wanted us to have a good time .

The company cancelled our boat tour due to foul weather and as we were unable to reschedule within our holiday period, they processed a full refund without being asked. Whist this was a disappointment, I applaud their commitment to professionalism and safety over profit. Brava We will definitely recommend them to our friends and will use them when we return. Ciao bello🙂
