I visited Central Europe (Vienna, Prague & Budapest) this October with my parents. We got to know that Bratislava can be visited in a day trip from Vienna. Thus,we chose the Private Day Trip to Bratislava from Vienna, because we were keen on visiting another country in a day.
Peter picked us up from our hotel in Vienna, at exactly 10 a.m. and we were off to our great day trip. The drive to Bratislava was quite comfortable, and we were there within an hour. First, Peter took us to the Slavin Memorial and told us the sombre history of the place. The memorial also has the best views of the old city and the castle.
At the castle, we met Joseph, who was our guide for the city centre. He showed us the Castle from the inside, walking across it all, and then through a thoroughfare near the garden, we entered the city by-lanes. We walked across the city and visited the city square, the Town Hall, the various monuments, famous statues like the "Man At Work' and much more. Throughout the walk, Joseph kept telling us the history of the region, the country, the wars and the life there. So the tour wasn't just fun and picturesque, it was extremely informative as well. We also saw a former monastery turned to a cool restaurant! Bratislava has such gems all over and Joseph was extremely enthusiastic about showing us all of them! He even helped us pick a really fabulous Slovak wine, which we definitely couldn't have chosen without him.
At the end of the walking tour, Peter picked us up in the car and drove us to the pretty little Blue Church, which definitely shouldn't be missed because it is so cute! From there, we drove back to Vienna, where Peter dropped us off at our hotel. The duration of the tour was 7 hours.
Bratislava was beautiful and what made our experience there so special was that Peter and Joseph were such amazing guides. Both of them were so kind, humble, patient and more importantly, extremely passionate about their work. Throughout the trip, we kept chatting about the history, the current affairs, various other places to be visited in Europe and much much more.
All in all, this day trip was the most memorable part of our trip because we had so much fun here, all because of the efforts by Peter & Joseph. Thanks a lot, White Alligator Tours, for making our visit to Bratislava so memorable. We wish you all the best for all your future endeavours and hope to take many more trips with you guys :)

Molto bello tornare a Bratislava, città vivace e accogliente. Vienna ha molte piacevoli scoperte, interessante il Belvedere dove ammirare Klimt ed altri con le loro opere.
