As soon as we reach the dive site, your experienced instructor will make a short briefing on what to expect and the few simple skills you'll need to know to dive safely, such as mask clearing, how to equalize your ears to the water pressure, regulator usage, proper fin kicking and basic hand signals.
Your instructor will also provide all the basic scuba gear you’ll use which is very well maintained every year and small age.This includes a mask, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, wet suit, dive gauges and a tank.
After the briefing, it is time for the thrill: In no more than 30 feet (10 m) deep in crystal clear warm waters , you will discover what it is like to breathe underwater for the first time! The marine life you will admire consists of eels, octopuses, sea basses, breams and schools of wide variety of Mediterranean fishes and lots of macro creatures.
All beginners will scuba dive in small groups of no more than six divers at a time, per Instructor, so that personalized attention is given to each one of you . Also, all divers are DAN insured.
Last but not least, our crew also holds an underwater camera and - if you wish - we will make sure that all your memories will be recorded and given to you at the end of the dive - free of charge!

It was a pretty good experience actually diving and our guide Nick was good. But the scheduling, preparation, and communication leave something to be desired. We booked weeks in advance but weren’t told we had to do online pre-training until about 48 hours in advance. When we did them, they kept telling us they hadn’t received them even though it was clear we had completed it. When we arrived, we were picked up to then drive for 45 minutes to collect gear (which we provided information on sizing for in advance as well) and then drove another 45 minutes to the dive site. The site itself was nice and easy to get to with clear waters, although there weren’t really any fish or anything much to see. The most upsetting part was that we brought a waterproof camera but were advised that their GoPro would take better photos so they’d take theirs along and send us the photos. Nick, our dive guide, took several through the guide for us. I asked several times for the photos and never received them - they finally responded and said they looked but didn’t see our photos. This was a really special first time experience to share as a family and it’s so upsetting that they didn’t even bother to tell us that something happened. Overall, I’m glad we went but it could have been such a better experience in several key ways.

A very good first time diving experience. It's moved me to potentially making scuba diving a hobby. The water was crystal clear, and my instructor was very helpful, friendly, and informative. My one issue is that since this was a discover dive, my instructor was not able to take pictures underwater, since she had to keep her attention on me. The description in this booking can be a bit misleading, since it promises pictures. However it's such a small issue since I'll definitely be doing this again, and no picture could capture the beauty I saw down there anyway.

Evan was a very friendly instructor who made our first diving experience unique and unforgettable. He showed us the beauty of the life underwater and had a very authentic approach in making it a real fun excursion. Most importantly, he was very calm in the water and made sure we were doing okay at all times, which made our first-time experience safe and relaxed. We really appreciate how the trip felt neither rushed nor routine, as Evan seemed to have enough time to make sure we had a good time. His banoffee caramel ice cream recommendation to finish our excursion was the cherry on top of a wonderful morning by the sea :)

We were in Athens this summer in August and we decided to try scuba diving for the first time. This was by far the highlight of our trip, especially since it was our first time attempting to scuba dive. Extreme divers tour did everything well, I cannot say enough about this tour, George our instructor and guide was brilliant: Both George and his brother did everything to make sure we were train properly and more important that we would experience a very cool adventure. I highly recommend Extreme divers to any one and I am planning to use them again next year once I go back to Athens.

My girlfriend and I booked the Discover Scuba Class, as we have both never been Scuba Diving before and wanted to try something new. The owner/instructor (George) was excellent! Very knowledgeable and friendly. We felt very safe under his supervision. George picked up/dropped us off from our hotel (at no extra cost), He brought snacks along to the dive site to enjoy after our dive. He locked our valuables in his shop on the way to the dive site. He brought his GoPro along to take photos, which he shares at no extra cost. To sum up, they really go the extra mile!
