Great tour to learn about the force of nature and experience post lava environment. Stacy was great telling her life stories. We wish, however that we had a bit more time actually riding electric bikes through the neighborhood, as this was a feature of the tour. Otherwise, I'd recommend it.

It was an amazing tour with a guide who had actually experienced and lived through the 2018 eruption!

You get to see the devastation and beauty of the 2018 eruption through the eyes of a local eyewitness. Fun, informative and awe-inspiring.

This is a 2 hour biking and walking tour of the devastation (and awesome beauty) wrought by Fissure 8 (and others). Conducted by a local resident whose home survived (barely), it’s informative, tun and personal, as you get to hear a first person account of what it was like to live through the eruption. It’s as close to being a witness to this event as I’d like to be! You need to be able to hike a bit, but it’s not strenuous. Stacy and her daughter Maddie (who was our guide for this trip) are lovely people and will make your trip worthwhile
