Itinerary
You will need your own form of transportation to get to and from the dock for a fishing charter experience, depending on the duration you choose. We will explore Tampa Bay’s endless flats and backwaters to target a who’s who of inshore favorites. You will receive all rods, tackle, and reels to use for fishing.
There are a huge number of species available in Tampa. Targeting species like Black Drum, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Jack Cervalle, Snapper (mangrove), Cobia, Tarpon, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Snook, and many more.

Traveler pickup is offered
Travels can request a pick up location accessible by boat, however due to weather or fishing conditions it can be denied, one of the designated areas would be a mandatory pick up.

Highly recommended. We’ve been fishing with Joe numerous times, we always catch a ton of fish, he’s extremely knowledgeable and an amazing captain.
Lots of guides are looking to save money on gas, time, effort, etc and will stay in a spot way too long, Joe is the opposite, he’s always hunting for the fish and is focused an making sure the guests have an unforgettable experience.

Went with Joe on the skinny water boat and chose to do artificial , to test my skills on one of the toughest fish in Tampa. Not only did Joe put us on the reds but I learned quite a lot to refine myself as an angler going forward. With options for the big boat for larger groups and live bait or the skiff for skinny water artificial shots Joe has everything you need. 10/10 would go again.

If you’re looking for THE best fishing charter in the area look no further! Slobby Joe’s Charter went above and beyond on my charter. Not only does the guy know the areas around the water like the back of his hand, he even takes it to the next level to make sure you’re having a great time. I lost count on how many fish we landed. What more could you ask for? Extremely knowledgeable captain who also provides great vibes on the boat. Do yourself a favor and book a charter! Have been fishing with Joe a number of times and have caught Redfish, snook, trout, sheephead, tarpon, grouper, snapper and many many more. Captain Joe can do it all. I have referred him to countless friends and even business colleagues for clients which Captain Joe has curated unique trips for and these colleagues have come back thanking me for the reference.
