We had one day for a western Norwegian sampler and this tour delivered! We planned for car-train-ferry experiences however the train had timetable issues which required us to make a choice - mountains and glaciers via train or fiord’s via ferry. Easy choice - fiords! Unique to Scandinavia! Janis our guide used the itinerary change to share parts of authentic Norway not possible with our original plans so we still enjoyed a uniquely curated experience! Awesome day! The views! Exiting every tunnel was like time traveling to a different microclimate. Lots of tunnels!! Highly recommend this tour if sampling is all you have time for.

We had a great time with Janis on our tour! We booked kind of late but they helped us to make it all work even with lack of tickets for the train at the time we originally wanted to go. Janis was professional, knowledgeable, and patient. Most importantly he was a great driver, and I’m glad of that because we went in the winter. He was a great companion for the drive and if he did not know the answer to our questions he was honest about that (to be fair, I ask a LOT of random questions). I would recommend this trip, and I would do it again. The only thing we weren’t expecting is that we were in an electric vehicle (clean and comfortable) which meant we had to make several 30min stops to charge up which added driving time to our trip. This was fine on the way there, and on the evening return trip it made our day longer than anticipated. We ate at the Flam cafe (I would not eat there again if we went again, but I think it’s the only winter option) do NOT get coffee there, go to the bakery if it’s open. The Bergen train is old and the interior shows. Many of the seats were stuck in the recline position which was uncomfortable, but you don’t ride for that long, so it’s easy enough to endure for the time it takes. I would do this tour again, but I think the drive and the boat tour would be much prettier in the later spring and summer.

It was a wonderful experience! Our guide Janice made the tour amazing and ensured that everything ran smoothly. You get to see the most beautiful views and Janice can answer any questions you have about Norway. Would definitely recommend!

Overall a great trip. The drive, train and cruise all presented beautiful vistas. Makes us want to return during autumn to see the fall colors. Maybe one day.

Traveled to all five Nordic countries … all are unique, yet so much synergy! Loved Oslo, kind, honest and helpful people everywhere. Stayed at the clarion ‘hub’ near the train station, absolutely loved it!

So thankful we decided to book this tour! Truly worth every cent!!
Joonas (our private guide) continuously expressed exemplary professionalism and was multilingual. He promptly picked us up from our hotel and hosted us throughout our journey. There was always time to eat/drink/stretch along the way at interesting reststops. We experienced unspeakable beauty the entire day trip!

Firstly wanted to thank our tour guide Joonas to make this tour very enjoyable. He arrived on time to pick us up. The van was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. Drive to Geilo was soggy but scenic. Next was train ride from Geilo to Myrdal and then Flåm rail to Flåm — both very scenic. While we walked around Flåm, Joonas stood in the line to board the cruise boat holding our spot. Cruise from Flåm to Gudvangen was awesome. It featured 100s of waterfalls and many small picturesque villages. Fjord itself was amazing. We ended back at our hotel in Oslo at around 11:15pm. It was a long day but totally worth it.

We had a private car for our journey to the fjords. It was a long day made most pleasant by our very knowledgeable guide. The scenery was stunning and well worth the trip if one does not want to start in Bergen. Despite not being able to take the train due to the flooding, the fjords and scenery were gorgeous.

First of all, this review is written from the perspective of almost not being able to do the trip at all because of terrible storms and flooding and landslides so we felt blessed that we were able to make it.
Janis (the cool one) was amazing. He was flexible with all the activities given the extra time because of the cancellation of the train portion of our trip. He got us to the boat just in time for boarding with no waste of time. We made many stops and diversions along the way to see secret Little photo opportunities off the beaten path.
As possible request that you divert to the meteor park for a nice hike to stretch the legs and it's a beautiful views and a little bit of science history.
The cruise was amazing and we were again, lucky enough to get perfect weather.
There was a option to stop and buy tickets to visit the inside of a old church which we opted out of again, leaving more time to adventure and see some special hidden away sites.
On the trip home we stopped at an amazing dinner at beef restaurant which was delicious.
