Our group of 4 recently went on this wine tour with Ricardo was enjoyable from start to finish. He was incredibly relaxed and friendly, making everyone feel at ease and welcome. He had a lot knowledge about the wines/wineries and the region, but his laid-back style made the tour feel more like a fun outing with a friend rather than a formal tour. While we booked the tour for the wine experience, we all also thoroughly enjoyed visiting the fish/food market as well as the tile factory. The lunch at a cozy family run restaurant was equally impressive, with delicious traditional Portuguese cuisine.that perfectly complemented the wines. The highlight was our last winery stop where we relaxed on the outdoor patio enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine with snacks and great conversations. Overall, this tour was a wonderful blend of education, relaxation, and indulgence. If you're looking for a wine tour that combines excellent wines, delicious food, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, this is the one to choose. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Helena contacted us ahead of time and picked us up promptly from our hotel in Lisbon. Her car was clean and comfortable. As we headed out of the city, she explained that the market was closed because it was a May 1 holiday. Instead, we saw a fortress and church. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We visited three interesting wineries with tastings. Although pleasant, the wines were pretty basic and nothing of higher quality or reserve. At the final winery visit, where she worked weekends, she provided 3 additional tastes for us to share. The lunch we had was excellent. We also toured a lovely tile workshop and gallery and purchased a beautiful tile arrangement. The one most glaring negative was that it appeared to us that at times that she forgot who her clients were. Another couple, with another guide from the same company, followed the same tour itinerary as we did, and many times, she paid more attention to them than to us. Was it worth $492 ???

Mostly it was very good. I want to give 5 stars but here is why not. 1) The driver / guide showed up about 10 minutes late with no word from the agency in an 8 person van. My spouse gets car sick and a sedan would have been better. I didn’t think I needed to ask! It was a private tour with two of us! 2) I booked this weeks, even months ahead of time. But I was told a few days before that two of the wineries I wanted to visit were closed for private functions. So I only saw ONE of the wineries I originally requested. 3) We went to two wineries and a wine bar. At the second winery Catralvos in the middle of the tasting they started playing VERY loud music. Loud enough that we had to shout to hear. Lunch at Bulla in Azeitão was excellent. Not much vegetables though. Seems to be common with Portuguese food.

An excellent tour. Miguel Ferraira was the perfect host, showing us elements of the real Portugal and being really friendly. The two wine tours were both educational and lunch at Restaurant Bulla was excellent. The second winery was better, personally, as was smaller and felt more intimate (Quinta De Catralvos)

We had Miguel as a tour guide for a winery tour day during a Bachelorette party weekend. The wineries were beautiful, the wine was delicious, and Miguel was the best tour guide. We had so much fun traveling around with him and we learned so much. This tour made the trip so special! Thanks Miguel

João went above and beyond in giving us an indulgent, once-in-a-lifetime experience, helping me propose to my now-fiancée. Every destination was well-timed, picturesque and worth the visit. João also had great suggestions regarding food and drink options, even providing us with a bottle of wine and pastéis de nata to take back to the hotel. Would recommend this tour to couples and friends alike!

I couldn't recommend this private wine tour more highly! Our guide, Nidia, led us on a magnificent day trip that was personalized, enriching, and just downright delightful. From the start, Nidia's warm and accommodating nature shone through as she tailored the experience to our interests. We visited three distinct wineries, each offering a unique glimpse into the local viticulture, accompanied by tastings of some truly exquisite wines that I would never encountered otherwise. Each location boasted its own charm, with stunning landscapes that were a feast for the eyes and the soul. The tour included breathtaking views of Arrábida Natural Park and Sesimbra, with its medieval castle. Nidia also took us to a local market where the colors, smells, and tastes were simply out of this world. The included lunch was OUTSTANDING, I was not expecting so much quality on an included lunch in a tour. Another highlight was learning about the traditional Portuguese method of making tiles, which added a cultural twist to the tour that was both educational and fascinating. What amazed me the most was how much we managed to see and do without ever feeling rushed—the pace was perfect. And for everything that's included, the price was unbeatable. Ending the day, I felt enriched with knowledge and joy from the fun experiences. If you're planning a trip to Lisbon, do yourself a favor and book this tour. It's a must for anyone wanting to dive deep into the local culture while having a blast. A huge thank you to Nidia for being so human and kind and for an exceptional day—it was truly above and beyond! Love Janet and Will

Best day!!!!! Miguel picked us up from our hotel and we spent the day exploring setubal. Miguel was AMAZING! It was like spending the day with a good friend. He went above and beyond making sure our day was special. We loved exploring the market- I want to shop there everyday! And the 3 wineries that we visited were all so interesting and so different. The tours/tastings were good at each of these wineries but Miguel was awesome. He would ask them for special little additions so that we could explore even more. A highlight of the day was lunch at Restaurante Bulla in Vila Nogueira de Azeitao - SO GOOD! THE FOOD, THE SERVICE... just outstanding. Particularly the cuttlefish stew.... so delicious!!! Thank you Miguel for a great day! I highly recommend this tour to anyone!!!
