Å (Norwegian pronunciation “o”) is a village in Moskenes Municipality in Nordland county, is the southernmost village of the Lofoten archipelago.
Until the 1990s, Å was mainly a small fishing village specializing in stockfish, but since then tourism has taken over, it represents today the most important economic resource, The town has a very interesting Stockfish Museum which is worth an accurate visit. The “Tørrfisk Museet” (Stockfish museum) which, together with the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum, as two big tourist attractions.

Great scenery. Great guide. Very flexible itinerary - we agreed where to go at the start - which was some of the lesser well known places in Lofoten. We visited Gimsoy, Eggum and Nusfjord; plus various other stops to take photos. The weather was very changeable (typical of Lofoten) with clouds, some rain, sunshine, blue skies. Made for great photos.

Finalmente una guida italiana e con grande competenza!
Esperienza fantastica che porteremo nel cuore per sempre,Maurizio ci ha guidato in tutte le isole delle Lofoten fino all’ultimo paesino di nome Ä,il paese con il nome più corto al mondo.
Abbiamo potuto apprezzare la devastante bellezza delle montagne norvegesi a picco sul mare attraverso i racconti e le curiosità raccontateci dalla guida.
Approvo e consiglio vivamente,questo tour vi farà immergere totalmente nella cultura norvegese.
