Departure and drop off for the tour

Pass By: Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, Campo de la Salute Dorsoduro 1, 30123 Venice Italy

Santa Maria della Salute is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica located at Punta della Dogana in the Dorsoduro sestiere of the city of Venice.
It stands on the narrow finger of Punta della Dogana, between the Grand Canal and the Giudecca Canal, at the Bacino di San Marco, making the church visible when entering the Piazza San Marco from the water.
In 1630, Venice experienced an unusually devastating outbreak of the plague. As a votive offering for the city's deliverance from the pestilence, the Republic of Venice vowed to build and dedicate a church to Our Lady of Health.
The dome of the Salute was an important addition to the Venice skyline and soon became emblematic of the city, inspiring artists such as Canaletto, J. M. W. Turner, John Singer Sargent, and the Venetian artist Francesco Guardi.

Pass By: Teatro La Fenice, Campo San Fantin San Marco 1965, 30124 Venice Italy

Teatro La Fenice is an opera house in Venice.
It is one of the most famous and renowned landmarks in the history of Italian theatre and in the history of opera as a whole.La Fenice Opera House opened its history on May 16, 1792 on the occasion of La Festa della Sensa. Was disappointed that our 30 minute private Goldoni ride only lasted 20 minutes. Our driver did not say a word to us the whole trip

Beautiful and peaceful gondola trip around Venice, which was led by an experienced professional who did point out a few landmarks and worthy photo points! The private gondola is a romantic, lovely opportunity I'd recommend anyone to take!

This was a horrible waste of money. The gondelier was talking on his phone our entire ride. He never spoke to us or pointed out points of interest. It was a very short ride in light rain and they had no umbrellas. For the price we paid to reserve this in advance, we could have had a better experience finding our own gondolier. DO NOT USE THIS GONDOLA OPERATOR NEAR THE GRITTI PALACE HOTEL!!!

This was on the main canal. It was raining so instead of our 30 min. He ended in 20 min. Our Gondolier wasn’t friendly at all. I wish we used a different Gondola area.

This tour was private and should have been 30 minutes. The guide was less than friendly and short with orders like placing us in gondola. Our tour lasted only 15 minutes and for the price we paid apiece this was not worth the experience!!

The ride advertised as ~ 30 minutes was only 16 minutes. Viator refused to give us a partial refund. Highly suggest using a different company for this experience.

Our reservation was at 4pm and we happened to be at the location at 1pm and asked if we could go then, as they were sitting around doing nothing. Nope. But our reservation was on their whiteboard. We returned at 4pm and our name is off the whiteboard and they had trouble locating our reservation. It was like we were an annoyance to them. The 30 minute tour was only 20 minutes. Very little explanation of things and we paid twice as much as compared to if we just walked up paid. Very disappointing. Avoid.

This gondola ride was a total waste of money. Finally found the location and then had to put up with the guy running the place being rude. The actual guy steering the gondola was also rude…no real greeting and then for the entire trip was on his phone. Never once told us anything about the area we were in, etc. The rise itself is pitiful…up the grand canal for 100 meters and then around a few back canals and back to base….30 minutes is questionable. I thought we’d save money pre-booking but in hind sight is rather get a ride with some of the other companies we saw around Venice.

Getting off the gondola… 22:35 was our time on the gondola… our gondolier was a little sarcastic when asked questions, wasn’t dressed the part of gondolier and as soon as he docked he departed the gondola to have a smoke… almost 5 minutes were spent wading in front of docking station at the end of our 22:35 minute ride…. Please don’t book with these people… money spent was wasted… my wife’s 75th birthday gondola celebration was a sad experience… We’ll have to go in person and pay for gondola ride, so we know what we’re getting..!!
