Our talented guide with the motorbike picks you up at your hotel (or any location requested by you). After a short talk about the tour program and making sure you are ok on the motorbike, we weave around the main streets and narrow alleyways to see a lots of must-see attractions, local markets, and many interesting things of the city.
Firstly, we stop at tourist attractions in District 1 including Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Central Post Office.
Head to Thich Quang Duc Memorial where you listen to the mysterious story about the unburned heart.
Then we drive to Nguyen Thien Thuat apartment building since the 1960s to learn more about the real local life which is totally different from what you see in the city center.
After that, we drive to Ho Thi Ky - the biggest wholesale flower market and Cambodian market hidden in alleyways to see thousands of colorful flowers and many strange things.
We stop at an 80-year coffee shop hidden in an alley to learn how to make "Vot" coffee, interact with the nice owner, enjoy a drink and chat leisurely with your guides as friends.
Arriving in China Town in District 5, we visit Binh Tay Market, Thien Hau Temple and have a drive around brilliant gems including fashion street, painting street, medicine street, electronic market, fabric market, lantern market, fruit market, bird market.
On the way, we have 3 food stops. At the first stop, we visit one of Saigon's best Banh mi shops, see how they make a great Vietnamese sandwich, buy one and eat it while sipping a drink at the coffee shop like locals. At the second food stop which is an over 30-year-old food stall selling Grilled banana in sticky rice and banana leaf. We eat crispy Vietnamese pancake and Rice noodles with grilled pork/fried roll at a 30-year-old restaurant. The guide not only tells you how to eat but also shows you how skillful chefs cook the foods.
The guide returns you to the hotel. It is time to say goodbye, tour ends but memories last forever.

We had an amazing time seeing Saigon by motorbike. Tom, Long, Lily and Tien were amazing guides for our family, taking us through neighborhoods that we otherwise would not have seen. Loved talking to them and learning about Saigon. We had delicious bahn mi, spring rolls, and Vietnamese crispy pancakes (yum). Felt completely safe and could not have asked for a better tour!

Thank you Castle! You are the future of the tour industry and that is amazing because you are so knowledgeable and respectful of history and maintain traditions and make sure to know the detail so that travellers like me are so well informed. This is the first tour I’ve taken on my own and it will be etched on my mind as a core memory. The food, the lessons, the conversations, thank you Castle. I think I even like coriander now! Good luck with everything. The one tip I can give - put sunscreen on 😊

Wow, what an adventure. We are in our 60s and had a wonderful experience with Heidi and Tony. Both, excellent ambassadors for Saigon! We laughed a lot, ate some wonderful food, saw some fantastic sights, oh did we mention, we closed our eyes numerous times, as our drivers weaved their way through the night time traffic mayhem. What a wonderful experience! Do it, its an adventure you will not soon forget.

The private sightseen and food tour by scooter that we did with Yu and Lily was a pleasant surprise in our trip. Although the food diversity was appreciated the greatest highlight was the interaction with the local culture. This tour gave us access to authentic places which might have been out of our reach on our own. We highly recommend this tour to newcomers into Saigon (HCMC) who want to experience and interact on a first-hand with the local eating culture.

I’ve been to Saigon a couple of times in the past 6yrs for work and this is the first time i tried to see Saigon on a scooter. It was fun and interesting! I get to experience a day in a life of a tourist guide named Kimmy who is very knowledgeable about Saigon and it’s history. I definitely love the local banhmi and coffee with condensed milk. I bought a pack of coffee for my husband! Iced coffee and banhmi surely goes well together. I also love the dried pho with meat and shrimp. Simply delicious! Overall, It was a great sight seeing and food tour in Saigon. Highly recommended!
