Maria ,our guide, went out of her way to help us see the major sights with our limited time. Giving us the option politely to travel both economically or with extra speed depending on our preference. She was kind and had an appreciation of the sights and history as many tourists would benefit from. Thank you for sharing her with us!!

We saw A LOT of wonderful areas on this walking tour of Osaka! We really enjoyed the castle and the park, as well as the view from the tower and Osaka sign photo op. Our guide was fun and provided good info.
Only concern was how fast she walked. We should have spoken up earlier, but it was an exhausting day, so you might want to put how strenuous the day is up front, or maybe it simply could be adjusted based on the people taking the tour. Even walking as fast and as long as we did, we still did not see everything she wanted to show us. We were simply too tired. I would highly recommend City Unscripted Tours, especially for those younger and/or in better shape (we are in decent shape in our 60s).
We were scheduled to go on the tour with John, but that is not who showed up (so we were looking for a male and a female showed). This was fine; however, we would have preferred being informed ahead of time, if possible...just so we knew who to look for. We walked right past her. Luckily, she used (and I checked) WhatsApp to find us.

María was an awesome Guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the city she has called home for 30 years and knew her way around with ease. Because Maria is Filipina originally, she has an amazing command of English with is so helpful and was fluent in Japanese which helped at the various locations we visited. She showed us soooo much in the short time we had together and we very much appreciated the effort she put into showing us places of interest and a good mixture of culture and local areas which we otherwise would not have found. We have been travelling around Asia for two weeks now and had numerous tours all over but Maria has been the best Guide we have had. It felt like a family member or friend was guiding us.

We chose this tour because it was private, and we would have our own guide that was fluent in the language and very knowledgeable of the city we were staying in. He was able to take us to all the destinations that we were looking to go to while explaining the history and culture behind them. We had lunch with himand share personal stories. I would highly recommend this tour service and if possible request Alex.

Fumiko-san was so considerate- and communicated with me several times to customize my tour. And then at the last minute when I had to change my schedule she adjusted immediately. She showed me Osaka castle and found me a special pottery class. I never would have gotten to do these two things in my limited time without her know exactly where to go. She is a delightful person-made me feel very welcome. She works hard to find out your interests.

We had an excellent time with Haruhi who shows us around Osaka. It was a lot of fun to get to know the city. We also sampled some local foods and learnt about Japanese culture and traditions.
