Annabelle brought us to the best food, orientated us properly, gave us history, background and so many options and infused it all with such a love of Salzburg we are going to come back again!

Our guide for the tour was Annabelle and she was great. She was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the city and its history. We went the week before Christmas so the festive markets were in full swing, and I couldn't think of a better time to have gone. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Fantastic experience!

Annabelle was the sweetest tour guide we could have asked for. It was the best combination of amazing food, fascinating history, and scenic sights around Salzburg. Definitely recommend if you love food and are considering a day trip from Munich to Salzburg.

We had a great day with Tanja. The weather was cold and rainy but we still had fun and hit all the sites and enjoyed the food. Tanja was knowledgeable regarding the history and food of Salzburg and was also flexible based on our food preferences. Highly recommend the tour!

Beautiful trip out to this lovely part of the world with Fork & Walk Tours. I had already taken a food tour with them in Berlin and was over the moon. This was pretty much a private tour as the maximum number of guests is 8 and there were only 6 on our tour. We kindly met at Munich main train station an escorted safely onto the train where we met our lovely guide Annabelle on the other end at the platform. From there we strolled around Salzburg eating fantastic local Austrian cuisine and divine sweets and cakes. Plus there were a few spots with incredible views where we could savour a local beer or two. It depends on your time in the area of Germany, but if you have an extra day, we would highly recommend going out with Fork & Walk to Salzburg and getting a true insiders taste and history of the city.

This tour is a wonderful way to get a taste of Salzburg and it’s culinary highlights. A very tasty treat indeed. Annabelle, the delightful tour guide in Salzburg, has a vast knowledge of the city and its history … experiencing the delectable Schnitzel, Nockerl, Sacher Torte and Steigl beer in their native environment is such a treat. Highly recommended for not just ‘foodies’, but anyone with an interest in seeing one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
