Sakkara and Memphis Tour is a day trip to the Step Pyramids of Zoser in Sakkara. The pyramid of Sakkara is considered the world’s oldest major stone structure. It is as a group of steps on top of each other and it is considered the first true attempt to build a pyramid in Egypt.

Stop At: Memphis and Sakkara, Saqqara 12919 Egypt
After your sakkara trip, you will move to Memphis. Memphis was the ancient capital of old Egypt founded by the legendary king Menes during the old kingdom. Memphis was considered a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt. Within the enclosure of Memphis, you will get to see the magnificent statue of Ramses II. On your way to the south you will visit the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur. You will return to your hotel later after your Sakkara Memphis tour is finish.

We were excited to make the tour with a knowledgeable archeologist who showed us a variety of tombs and pyramids and provided a comprehensive lesson on Egypt. He was fabulous!

This was an excellent tour. Our guide Sayed Bazuka was very knowledgeable, informative and very attentive to my elderly parents. We were able to explore authentic Egyptian crafts as well during the trip. Well worth it.

We spent the day with Ahmed visiting Saqqara, the Red and Bent Pyramids and Memphis. Ahmed proved to be a thoroughly knowledgable and passionate guide. He was flexible (allowing us to sleep in an extra 30 minutes before starting out!) and pleasant. The information he provided about all of the sites we visited gave us a much clearer understanding of what we saw. As it was the first time we had seen the pyramids in person, we were fortunate to have Ahmed guiding us. Thanks for a great introduction to Egypt, Ahmed.

Sayed was an excellent guide for our trip to Sakkara, Memphis and Dahshur! Pickup was on time and everything went extremely smoothly. We also really appreciated the snacks and drinks! And getting to go inside the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid was really amazing! Sayed is a legitimate Egyptologist and shared so much fascinating information we never would have known otherwise. He was also great to just talk to and spend the day with, and took tons of great pictures for us. We definitely recommend this tour and asking for Sayed as your guide!!

I must say this have been best tour I have ever had.
The booking process and after booking support was amazing. The provider answered all questions I had and my expectations were well set.
The tour guide was very professional and and knowlegeable. It has been a tour in which history, attraction and enjoyment made a unique and tailored experience.

I really enjoyed the outing with the professional guide being well versed in ancient egyptology. Saw some of the best artifacts and views the ancient world has to offer! Highly recommended!

We booked a last minute trip and the travel company had no problem taking our booking. Hosni our guide and driver were on time. Hosni gave us plenty of information about ANCIENT ancient Egyptian history. Information that we didn't hear about in our other tours. They took us to a great outdoor restaurant, the best food we had in Egypt! They met our requests without hesitation. I'd recommend this tour to my friends.

The day tour to Sakkra, Memphis, and Dahshur was an excellent way to spend our last full day in Egypt. From accommodating our request for a later pickup time in the morning to stopping to help us buy less common souvenirs on the way back to the hotel in heavy afternoon traffic, all our wishes were happily met. Our driver was excellent and very safe. Our guide, Hosni, was also excellent. He made each site we visited all the more exciting with his knowledge and explanation. We opted for this tour over a day trip to Alexandria and are really happy with our choice!
