This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: The Bund (Wai Tan), Zhongshan East 1st Road, Shanghai China
Upon arrival you will be greeted by your local professional driver at the airport with a welcome sign, enjoy a comfortable ride to the city. After meeting the guide, spend few mins to discuss and tailor-made your tour. Following is the recommended itinerary, if you have any requests please feel free to tell your guide and will make adjust for you. First, take a walk along the historic Bund area to enjoy the splendid view of old and new Shanghai along the Huangpu River while learning about its colonial history.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Yu Garden (Yuyuan), No.218 Anren Street, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200010 China
Next, head to the famous Shanghai Old town and Yu Garden bazaar area, where a large number of street vendors and markets sell just about everything: tea, antiques, Chinese seals, souvenirs, toys, Christmas decorations, everyday items, and random weirdness. Pass by the 200-year-old Hu Xin Ting Tea House while walking on the lucky nice zigzag bridge and pay a visit to 5-century old classic Yu Garden, take in the charming view of old and traditional Qing-Dynasty architecture, pavilions, fish and turtle ponds
Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes
Stop At: Former French Concession, Puxi Central, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200000 China
Then follow your guide, you will walk through the beautiful French concession, a hip neighborhood that boasts an idiosyncratic push-pull between new and old, between development and preservation for an absolutely unique urban experience.
Duration: 50 minutes
Stop At: Shanghai World Financial Center, Building 1, No.100 Century Ave, Pudong New Area, Shanghai China
Continue the tour to Pudong Island , learn the fast develoment of the city since opening up and enjoy a fun walk among the futuristic skycrappers on the ring-bridge. If a nice clear day, you could choose to go up to one of the observation decks at Shanghai Tower or Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jinmao Tower, to enjoy a fantastic bird-eye of mega Shanghai.

Stop At: Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road), Nanjing East Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200000 China
As the private customized tour, if you have been to the above-mentioned sites. Feel free to discuss with your guide the other interests you have. The tour can also cover Jade Buddha Temple, People square/Marriage market, Shanghai Museum, Huangpu River cruise etc. During the tour you will have the chance to taste some of the local authentic food.
After the wonderful tour, If you book the maglev train option, you will be dropped off at the Maglev Station, your guide will buy you the train ticket and you will experience the amazing Train ride with 300-400km/hour speed on the way to the airport ( non-stop); If you book 1-way transfer option, your local driver will drop you off at the downtown Shanghai area at your request; if you book the 2-way transfer option, your local driver will drop you off at the airport terminal.

Does not get much better than a tour guide like Ruby.
I had a measly 15hr layover in Shanghai so booked in for a solo tour!
Well flexible, fun, knowledgeable, we laughed all day and seen all the bits i wanted to see!

I’m super enthusiastic about this experience. Freya was a very well informed guide which brought my boyfriend and I around the city, exploring the highlights. The driver caught us at the airport and we met the guide in the city centre. The guide suggested us typical dishes, like gyoza and noodles, which were amazing. I suggest everyone to take part at this trip for a short stopover in Shanghai: we spent around 8/9 hours in the city, but you can manage it with the guide.

This is a perfect option if you are only in Shanghai for a day! The guide was very friendly and knowledgable, she adjusted the tour to our needs and wishes. We flew back home with many memories of Shanghai!

Our guide Annie was very professional and knowledgeable. Despite our late flight we managed to do a complete tour of the city. we also tried the food recommended by the guide, the steamed dumplings were simply divine.

I booked this tour for my 7 hr layover, which (after transit approval and with leaving some space to be back at the airport in time) only left about 2 hrs for the tour. I am still so happy I booked it and would recommend it to anyone to do the same! Annie met me in the city center and did her very best to show me as much as possible in the little time we had. On top she made sure I feel very welcome in conversation and also well fed with the best dumplings in town. Thank you!!! I would absolutely do it again :)

The best, stress free, way to spend a day exploring Shanghai when you have a long layover at Shanghai Pudong (PVG) airport.
Our guide, Sunny, arranged for super simple airport pick-up and drop-off so no worries about coordinating transport in or out of the city and potentially missing flights or trying to navigate on our own with jet lag! We were also able to enjoy carefree exploring without luggage due to the very reasonably priced baggage storage area in the airport. We started in Old Town - beautiful AND yummy! Moved on to the river to get a spectacular view and photos of the Bund. If Sunny wanted to, I’m sure she could make a living as a photographer! We are so grateful to have photos of our adventures with everyone included. A quick pit stop at the People’s Park to respectfully view the matchmaking corner before heading to the French concession for lunch. After lunch we went to the AP Plaza for some souvenirs from the worlds greatest knock off market. Fun to negotiate with the savvy shop keepers and leave with beautiful bounty. Then on to an authentic dinner followed by viewing the city lights from the opposite side of the river from earlier in the day. Hopped in the shuttle back to the airport in plenty of time to pack our gifts into luggage and arrive at check-in with time to spare! All logistics were smooth and professional. Sunny is a charming, knowledgeable guide and we’ll definitely recommend her to all of our friends!
