Itinerary
In this 1. 5 hour experience, you will learn more about the history of Delft blue, an iconic art form that has captivated admirers for centuries. You will create your own tile that you can take home immediately to put in your house as a unique souvenir of Amsterdam.
During the workshop we provide you with a hand-on experience in creating your own unique masterpiece! We have examples to work with that support all levels, meaning there is no experience in painting required. Whether you're a seasoned artist or new to the world of pottery, this workshop is designed to be engaging, educational, and most importantly, enjoyable.
By the end of the session, you will have not only gained insights into the historical significance of Delft Blue but also have a beautiful tile crafted by your own hands, a tangible symbol of your trip.

Liesje is a very welcoming, thoughtful and fun hostess. Everything was well organised, explained and prepared for us.
My friend and I had a fantastic time creating our tiles, we didn't realise how time went by. Definitely recommend it!!!

We loved the experience of painting delft tiles. Our host was lovely and fun to spend time with. She gave us a quick orientation on the history of Delft painting and then shared samples and some instructions. We all got right to work and really enjoyed our time together, plus some snacks and music. The setting is wonderful in the host’s garden studio. Our family (ages 9, 20 and 45) all highly recommend! Perfect pause to break up busy days of sightseeing.

Such a wonderful and perfect pause in sightseeing to take some time to paint with our kids in a lovely garden studio setting. We learned about Delft tile painting and are so happy with the souvenirs we crafted. Lovely visit with our host who provided snacks and tips and photos!

I attended the workshop with 3 friends during our trip in Amsterdam. The host was very welcoming and the setting was very cosy, we immediately felt at home! Liesje gave an introduction to the history of Delftware and guided us through the art of tile painting. We had a great time and I would totally recommend this workshop!
