The teachers were fantastic. They not only worked with me on my Spanish, but also shared stories of their lives, their families, Ecuadorian history, culture, and food. It made the experience very immersive. I hope to return!

My teacher was willing to learn about the student and use the knowledge of the student to teach in the way that supports the students better. The price is a lot better than in Colombia and México city. The private lesson was even cheaper than the big group lessons in other places. And we improved very fast with the teacher’s personalized lessons. The school is caring and responsible. Highly recommended!

I was there for two intense weeks of Spanish. I arrived with basics and left with solid knowledge about the language. I would 200% recommend this school to anyone wanting to study Spanish, whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advance, or whether you are travelling solo, in family, between friends or in a couple. Teachers are extremely friendly. Mine was Tito, a really great teacher who’s going to make you feel confident about speaking (not easy)! Eugenio, the school director, has also been very helpful in preparing this trip, but also while in Quito. He showed us the whole city, and even drove to Papallacta after school with his car! Anyways, amazing experience!

I studied Spanish for ten weeks at Ailola in Quito and I’m really happy with the results. The instruction was fantastic. They explained things to me in a clear, structured and organized manner. The exercises were perfect for illustrating the concept. My instructor knew the material thoroughly and knew how to explain it to a learner. Afterwards, I felt that I finally had a good understanding of so many things that I only kind of vaguely understood before. I learned a lot. The topics taught to me were always relevant to my level. On top of that the other students were great and I enjoyed spending time with everyone at the school. The school director was super friendly and made sure that I got to see the local tourist attractions. So, yeah, I’m really pleased with the experience. I will study there again the next time I’m in Ecuador.

My wife and I studied at Ailola Quito for 6 weeks this past summer and it was an amazing experience. All of the teachers and administrators are wonderful people and we really enjoyed not only learning from them but also getting to know them. Eugenio is super committed as the Director and owner of the school and we really enjoyed learning from Robertito and Paola! Highly recommended

I spent almost 3 months at the Ailola Quito Spanish School and was able to sustainably improve my Spanish skills. I am still enthusiastic about the school, the teachers and the other students from different countries. The lessons and the teaching material are very professional and the breaks offer space to practice what you have learned with the other students. The atmosphere was always great and very relaxed. I can recommend a Spanish course at this school to everyone and would always choose Ailola Quito again!

The director, Eugenio Cordova, was responsive too all questions as we were making a decision. Once we had decided to select Ailola Quito, he continued to respond to all our needs to include hotel suggestions. My wife and I each had our own instructors; capable, patient and motivated us to focus and participate. Our 2 week session was split one week in Quito and 1 week in Otavalo, for us the correct decision. The other students were international and enjoyable company. For 20 hours per week of instruction and a few afternoon events, it was of exceptional value

It has been a fantastic 2 months studying at Ailola. All of the professors are kind and helpful and will assist you with anything you need - with Spanish or otherwise. On arrival, Eugenio picked me up from the airport and I continued to feel supported throughout my time at the school. My Spanish has drastically improved, thanks to my professor, Vanessa! Break times are filled with friendly conversation between professors and students, coffee/tea and a selection of bread from the bakery - nice touches. I went on two excursions with the school to Papallacta - a beautiful spot in the Andes and a great opportunity to practice my conversation skills. Quito, in general, is a really cheap place to live and everything is completely open in Ecuador with COVID protocols, including classes at Ailola. Overall, I felt this school was really supportive and took my learning experience seriously and I am grateful to the school for improving my Spanish and always helping me out during my time in Ecuador. Highly recommended.
