Itinerary
Enjoy a 4 or 8 hour private charter with up to 8 guests on a 34ft powerboat. Choose as many or as little of the following activities as allowable within your charter time. Swim with the wild turtles at Green Cay, snorkel a selection of stunning and colorful coral reefs, visit one of the most photographed islands in the world; Gilligan's Island, deep sea or inshore fishing, sunbathing on the beach or just have a swim in the dazzling aquamarine waters that surround nearby islands. On afternoon or full day charters you may opt to visit Footprints Beach Bar and Grill on Rose Island. This bar and grill sits on an exquisite part of Rose Island with water the most beautiful shades of turquoise and a white sandy beach. Enjoy lunch, music, fully stocked bar, sunbathing and activities such as volleyball and billiards. (Lunch and landing fee not included in charter cost).
The boat comes with bottled water, snorkel gear, and fishing gear.

We had such an amazing time on the Free Spirit. We fished, went snorkeling at an amazing reef full of tropical fish, we swam with the pigs at Rose Island, and we went to see a bunch of giant sea turtles. Our Capt and 1st Mate were extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of our trip. This was by far the highlight of our Bahamas trip. I would highly recommend to any family or small group that wants a funfilled day on an awesome boat.

Absolutely amazing!! We (a private party of five) had the pleasure of experiencing a half day on Free Spirit touring some beautiful scenery, snorkeling, visiting Gilligan's Island, visiting majestic sea turtles, and having what turned out to be a great lunch with drinks at Footrpints Bar and Grill. Couldn't have asked for a better crew in Janton and Joey! They were an amazing team and treated us to very special experience. Worth every penny 🙏 We hope we are fortunate enough to come back and relive the experience again some day.

A great half day trip with Willie at the helm. After fishing for a while he steered us to a nice snorkeling site, then took us to Gilligans Island. We were also able to see sea turtles and some dolphins chased the boat for a bit. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thanks Willie! - The Powers (crazy Mainers)

We had the best day ever with Captain Will! We caught wahoo, saw the turtles and visited Rose Island. We ate at the Footprints restaurant on Rose Island - which was excellent! The water at Rose Island is gorgeous and crystal clear. We traveled with our 3 teens and 1 younger child, we felt very safe and relaxed the whole time. This excursion was the best day of our vacation…even the teens say so 😂

My family of four decided to try this company for a private half day charter in Nassau and it was truly a wonderful experience. The boat was clean and well maintained. But most of all our captain, WILLIE was exceptional. The windy weather was not ideal but nevertheless Willie had options for us. He tailored the trip to our own itinerary and offered wonderful suggestions for stopping. Our kids 12 and 19 said this was hands down their favorite day of our Nassau vacation. We really appreciated your service Willie. Thank you for such a special experience. One we will never forget. Next time we will book a full day charter. 5 stars.

We rented the Free Spirit boat for half day. It should be better to specify that the rent is for 4 hours (from 1pm to 5 pm). We assumed by half day that we would have the boat the whole afternoon and that wasn't the case. On the other hand, the captain was a good driver but lacked of enthousiasm and initiative. We were hoping to have a person able to guide us properly and recommend a schedule of places to visit during the excursion from the point of view of a local. That being said, if you are looking for just a driver and a good boat, this is a good choice. The beaches we visited were beautiful. We were not able to fish : the captain said that fishing was very slow.

The crew of the Free Spirit was wonderful. We had a large group of eight, four couples. We had asked that we stop at a reef or two to snorkel and spend the rest of the day exploring a private beach. Based on the weather, the crew knew the best place to go and made sure we had a great place to snorkel. After snorkeling, they found a very private spot on a beach and let us just hang out for the rest of our time. I cannot say enough good things about the crew we had our day. They were funny, professional, and knowledgeable, accommodating our requests. The boat was very clean and in great shape. Everyone in our group had a great time, and we would definitely book with Born Free Charters on the Free Spirit again. I do not doubt that if you wanted to do something other than snorkel or swim, they would do a good job.

The fishing was slow but the snorkeling was amazing. The snorkeling gear could have been newer and updated.

I caught a barracuda and my wife caught a shark. We went snorkeling too. Our four year old was scared of choppy boat rides, and they went slow to get started. On the ride back, she was nothing but giggles. I highly recommend this experience. We loved having the boat to ourselves, and not having to share it with others. They were very kind and helpful.
