We had an excellent time! By the end of the day, we felt we had seen a great deal of Geiranger and the Glaciers. Maya was excellent and very personable! Well worth the $!

This was an 8.5 hr couch tour arranged by a group of us from our ship NCL Prima who met via Cruise Critic roll call. There were 27 of us on a comfortable coach that drove up into the mountains towards Stryn Norway for many fabulous panoramic photo stops to enjoy the views.
Our tour guide - Iggy, was a delight to listen to during our travels as he pointed out great sights to see, explained the history of the region and other personal antidotes.
The tour included a “picnic” lunch that was a pre-wrapped sub sandwich, fruit and snacks. We ended up just eating on the bus, since it was drizzling rain, but that was a very good use of our time.
The highlight stop was Birksdalen Glacier which included a troll car (6 person buggy) ride up the mountain trail to get close to the glacier. The pristine fiords, interior lakes and rushing water everywhere were amazing sights to see.

We toured Geiranger with Renars as the first leg of our honeymoon. He was simply put AWESOME! So knowledgable, easy to be with, efficient, and showed us many special spots. Along with our tour with Igvar, this was the HIGHLIGHT of our Norway trip.
Do not miss this trip - it's a once in a lifetime, bucket list experience.
