Fossen Bratte is one of the big waterfalls on the way between Bergen and Norheimsund. Fossen Bratte means steep waterfall and that is a statement: The river Eikedalselva thunders down in a single drop over 79 meters

Steinsdalsfossen is one of the most popular waterfalls in Norway. The river Fosselvi drops down 48 meters and is special because you can walk behind the water veil. The flood of the river is quite consistent and is being fed by water from a serie of lakes from which Myklavatnet. Steinsdalfossen was already popular a hundred years ago, at the time of the emperor of Germany, Wilhelm II. He visited Steinsdalsfossen every year, until world war II began. Actually the waterfall is not that old: at the 17th century the river flowed west of Steinsdalsfossen. In 1699 “Øvsthus farm suffered great damage when the river flooded its banks”. The old river channel was closed off, perhaps as a result of great amounts of snow or an avalanche, and the water ran instead off the cliff.

Skjervsfossen is a big and beautiful waterfall not far from Voss. Skjervsfossen has two major drops and is in total 150 meter heigh. The stage at the parking is the most impressive part (the upper part) with a single drop of 60 meter.

The new gondol is open all year, and takes you from the train station in Voss and to Mount Hanguren (820 masl) in under 9 minutes. This is the largest and most modern mountain gondola in Northern Europe. At the top station you will have a panoramic view to many of the mountains surrounding the town of Voss. You'll also find a variety of activities here - in the summertime you can go hiking, biking, padagliding or rappelling. In the winter the gondola takes you to the big ski resort Voss Resort, where you can have fun in the snow all day.

The Hardangerfjord is the fourth longest fjord in the world, and the second longest in Norway. The fjord stretches 179 kilometres (111 mi) from the Atlantic Ocean into the mountainous interior of Norway along the Hardangervidda plateau. The innermost point of the fjord reaches the town of Odda. The history of the fjord goes far beyond its Viking history, back to the time of hunters on the surrounding mountains, and later on, farming along this fertile area which today is considered the "fruit orchard of Norway". Later the fjord became the birthplace for a large tourism influx to Norway, and in 1875 Thomas Cook started weekly cruise departures from London to the Hardangerfjord, due to its spectacular nature, glaciers, and grand waterfalls.

Vøringsfossen waterfall is the 83rd highest waterfall in Norway on the basis of total fall. It lies at the top of Måbødalen valley in the municipality of Eidfjord. It has a total drop of 182 meters (597 ft), and a major drop of 163 meters (534 ft). It is perhaps the most famous waterfall in the Norway and a major tourist attraction on the way down from Hardangervidda to Hardangerfjord.

Voss is a municipality and a traditional district in Vestland county, Norway. The administrative center of the municipality is the village of Vossevangen. Voss is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, forests, lakes and fast-flowing whitewater rivers. This has led to its development as a notable center of skiing, water sports, skydiving, paragliding and other adventure sports. Every year in the last week of June the area hosts the Extreme Sports Week which is regarded as the world's premier extreme sports festival. Bømoen, the local airstrip, is home to Skydive Voss, one of the largest dropzones in Norway, as well as a gliding club. The rivers provide various levels of white water, attracting kayaking, rafting and river boarding. Kite surfing and para-bungee may be seen on lake Vangsvatnet. The ski area, to the north of the town, is accessible via a cable car, Hangursbanen.

This tour was absolutely wonderful! The waterfalls are beautiful, the fjords are too. Our guide Arne was wonderful. He was so knowledgeable and kind. We stopped to see everything. I could not believe the amount of this we got to see. 5 stars for sure!

We had a great time with our tour guide Frode, he was excellent, very knowledgeable and great conversationalist. I highly would recommend this tour for anyone looking to enjoy great views and a delicious lunch.
