Currently, the ruins of the Plaza de las Tres Culturas correspond to the ceremonial precinct of Tlatelolco, which bears similarities to Tenochtitlan, both in logic and in the objective: to form a city where the market and trade were the main activity.

Madero of Mexico City. Stop At: Teotihuacan Pyramids, San Juan Teotihuacan 55825 Mexico

The Pre-Hispanic City of Teotihuacan was one of the largest urban centers in the ancient world, which reached a population of more than 100,000 at the time of its greatest splendor. Located in a valley rich in natural resources, Teotihuacan was the seat of power of one of the most influential Mesoamerican societies in the political, economic, commercial, religious and cultural, whose features permanently marked the peoples of the Mexican highlands, transcending time and coming to us with the same strength and greatness with which its builders planned it.

Carlos was our guide and Antonio was our driver. Both of them took excellent care of us. Carlos shared a lot of information with us, answered our questions and was very personable. We felt very comfortable with both gentlemen and they even helped us by taking us to an ATM to get some pesos. Carlos had a lot of opinions about several things and we enjoyed hearing all of them. The vehicle was very comfortable Teotihuacan and the Shrine of Guadalupe are must do in Mexico City and this is an excellent tour to take you there

We were picked up right on schedule at our Airbnb in central Mexico City. Our Tour Guide Sergio was the best! His knowledge of the Pryamids and the Shrine of Guadalupe were amazing. Sergio studies hard to make the experience good for you. His explanations were great and we went to some places not seen by other tourists. We were so pleased with him, we did a 2nd day with him at the Floating Gardens. So happy with this trip! Edwardo was our driver and he did a wonderful job. We mixed Spanish and English speaking.

This was one of the best tours we have taken - such a great day. It was nice to comfortably ride in an air conditioned car and be able to go at our own pace. Our guide Ramon was full of information. We enjoyed discussing the history of Mexico with him. We highly recommend this tour!

If you are in two minds about this trip don’t be. It is completely worth it. Our guide Bruno and driver Arturo were the best team we could have hoped for. We learned so much about history from the pre-Aztec period to the Spanish conquest. Bruno patiently answered our many questions and is extraordinarily knowledgeable about world history. The whole day was memorable. There are quite a few steps to climb at the pyramid of the feathered serpent and at the Basilica complex. So best not to combine with other activities for the day. One of the best days of our lives.

George our guide and our driver Carlos were TOPS. Carlos navigated traffic (always a challenge in MX) and George was a veritable font of knowledge not just about the tour stops but everything in between. George has wonderful English and even tried to teach us some Mexican tongue twisters— “camerons caramelo” which passed the time on our return trip. We changed our drop off to Frida Kahlo’s home and he pointed out some great spots for ice cream and churros on the way to drop us off. Very informative guide as he majored in history at college and it really brought these old places alive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
